- The A90 Toyota Supra has been around for 4 years now and has been a staple in the Sport Coupe segment. The model has a 3.0T Inline 6 (B58) under the hood that makes 382 HP and 368 Lb-Ft of Torque to only the rear wheels. It is linked by a ZF 8 Speed automatic or now for the 2024 MY, a 6 Speed Manual Transmission!
Styling of the Supra is a call back to the FT-1 Concept and has one of the most aggressive rear quarters I’ve seen on a modern car.
Huge thanks to BMW Of South Miami for allowing me to review this model! www.bmwofsouthmiami.com/

Why it says 2024 but if it’s a 2023
To answer your question, no. The legendary original Supra and its following generations, was made and manufactured in Japan. This new one is basically a z4 with Supra badges. The parts are mostly bmw parts, the platform is bmw, it’s even assembled in Austria, which means it isn’t even a Japanese car. Not hating, I LOVE the original Supra, it holds a permanent spot in my heart next to the R34, the WRX STi, and the Audi S5. This just seemed like a greedy cash grab and should’ve been done with way more respect to the legacy. Is it a slow car? No is it poorly designed? No. It’s a visually appealing car, and fun to drive, I don’t dislike it. but why give it its own name and legacy? Just my opinion.
I agree wholeheartedly! Very well written and stated!
It’s made in Austria. No heretical lineage to the OG Supra at all. The only Japanese is the Toyota
