Wow, this is something I've never come across before in my previous attempts to learn chess. Granted, the last time I DID try to learn was before TH-cam etc were popular, so there was a lack of easy access to info, but this is still completely "new" (and amazingly useful) to me. Thank you for taking the time to put these videos together!
So many chess resources on youtube are entirely dedicated to grandmasters showing an audience what a beginner-intermediate chess player is doing wrong. Thank you for producing lessons for complete beginners :)

I am just now playing a correspondence game online and come to this exact situation with the exception that opponent had a rook of their own, but I was able to deliver the rook+king back rank mate nonetheless :) thanks!
