    if you are in the market for a new laptop I would recommend an ASUS due to how they are manufactured now compared to HP, Dell, Gateway, etc today.     I'll be danged. Wife's versa was dead dead dead. Had tried it all and nearly gave up....then the freezer trick got it to boot. Nice tip dude.

    Fit Bit Sense Stopped working, would not charge. Tried everything but would not turn on. I Put it in the freezer for 2 hours , Took it out and put in on the charger charging screen came on and off a few times. I didn't have much hope , left it on the charger and walked away. I came back a few hours later and to my surprise it was working and fully charged. Thanks.

    WOW....... I gotta say I was skeptical about doing this. I put my Luxe in freezer (THE NUCLEAR OPTION )at 11:45 am and I just pulled it out at 1:45 pm. I plugged it in and low and Behold it came back to life. I'm guessing I'll need 3 to 4 hours for it to charge. I'll be back at that time to update this post in a reply. Even if this doesn't fully do the job it is a lot better than me tossing this in the trash.

      UPDATE.......................My Luxe said 1 % yesterday so I put it on the charger. I also did a reset. This morning it is still 1%. After trying different plugs and usb ports still nothing. If I press the button on the USB cord, the Fitbit Logo will appear then it will vibrate for 2 seconds. Then it says 0% .

    I hope there is a class action lawsuit for those who bought the versa 2 fitbit.
    Update: customer care contacted. They could see from my account when it stopped working. They are replacing it as I have mailed the original one back per their request.

    My luxe just quit...won't charge, black screen so I can't attempt a factory reset.. I only got it mid march and now it's mid June. I've tried every solution you've listed except the freezer.

    What if you have a fitbit (Versa 3) where the logo comes on then goes off into a black screen then repeats this over and over until your battery is drained? I tried factory resetting, I even bought a new charger cord and used a different outlet and it still does the same thing. I somehow managed to get the home screen to display for about 1-2 seconds and it showed 66% battery life then went back to a black screen and now all it does is vibrate, show a fitbit logo that stays on for about 20-25 seconds (I literally just counted as I am typing this out) before going to a black screen, then vibrating and doing it again and again and again. - btw, I took it off the charger maybe a half hour ago and it's still doing this repeatedly. Every version i ever buy (Versa, Sense, Charge) does this and it drives me crazy how a company can have such expensive watches that don't last more than 4 months to a year with customer service that is NO help and pretty much tells me i just need to buy a new watch.

      It happened with my first and second versa (2 and 3 version). I won't buy fitbit anymore

    Hi Helping Hermit, how do we dismantle the charger for the Fitbit Sense please? Hundreds of people (including me) are having the exact same problem that the lower left pin in the charger stops being sprung loaded. Instead of being sprung so it sticks out, the pin becomes sunk into the charger, so that it no longer makes contact with the connector on the watch. There are dozens and dozens of videos for dismantling the Fitbit Sense watch, but not a single video for dismantling the Fitbit Sence charger.

    My Fitbit recognizes the power but it won't charge. I will try the freezer trick and let you know.

    All I can see is the time but the other features just keep going in-and-out like it's trying to charge but it won't charge Help

      I’m sorry maybe try cleaning it but you probably already tried that but if you have it you could try cleaning the charging places on the watch and the charging dock

    Fitbit charging bass is junk one pin will stick down in too far and not make contact to charge. Horrible design

      Add a piece of wallpaper where the one pin is stuck. It’s working for me.

      Ok here's the fix, it works 100% of the time but you gotta do it in the exact order that I specify. 1. Remove the watch from your wrist ( very important! ). 2. Place the watch on a hard surface preferably concrete. 3. Put on high quality industrial boots, better yet, get a 10 pound sledge hammer. 4. Smash the watch with the sledge until its absolutely destroyed, removing any hopes of it ever wasting anyone's time again. 5. And most importantly, purchase an APPLE watch. You're welcome. 😄😃😅🤣

    3 plus months and mine won't hold a charge once it's off the charger. I'm pissed. Pure scam crap is how I feel. my coworkers have Apple and other products without problems. I WILL TRY THIS BEFORE IT GOES IN THE TRASH.😢 .
    UPDATE: After this didn't work I went to my account and noticed the customer service methods. I explained the issue and could see online when I stopped using the watch. I was told to send it to fitbit and they are replacing it...I'm shocked 🥲

      I went on the site and complained. They saw when it stopped recording on their site and sent me a replacement. I haven't got it to reboot to the new one but will let you know.
