So I believe we have 1 more year with the Daily Bugle. It would retire at end of 2025. But I’m glad you asked because I am planning a review of the Daily Bugle here soon.
Really 360º nice display, a lot of great details, no stickers, easter eggs, not too expensive, modulable (the rock part with trees)... very low final grade if you compare with sets like for example Indiana Jones, which has given an 88 final grade in you channel : full of stickers, with the worst back part and with 4 minifigures. Ok, I could understand that reviews are about feelings and tastes, and it's true that the weakness part of this set could be the minifigures for me,, but 69 final grade for this set is not fair imo.
Its a fraction harsh, I would say its a 75/100. The figures are mid, the builds okay, but nothing special. The set as a display though is very good, if the score was just what it looks like then its easily 90/100, not quite Fishing shack level but still very good. It loses points with the basic build, lack of play and barely adequate figures, 69 is harsh but hardly unwarranted.
I do agree it is a beautiful set and you make a good point about the 360 display. Taking all the different components into account like a do with all sets it does ding the set grade a bit. The Indian Jones Temple of the Golden Idol was on another level when it came to functionality, storytelling, and also just amazing to put together. Both great sets though.
No, it looks great, oh no! I now think I might have made a mistake. I chose Ninjago city garden instead as it got you all the gwp, plus I thought I still had lots of time to get this set, but its now sold out everywhere. Ive made a huge mistake.
It wasn't an immediate buy, but getting it on sale with Insider price, it pairs well with the tree house so there's that for a camping ground diorama
Happy Thanksgiving! From Myself. And The Johnsons.
I'd love a video that covers active sets that go out of stock immediately after a restock! Such as the Batcave etc
Interesting video idea! Let me put some thought into that. Thanks for the feedback!
I got the A Frame last week when it was on sale, along with the promo stack.
Nice! Great time to buy the set last week.
"Exclusive minifigures " not really you can find the pieces easily (Dads torso is only in 2 sets)
Thanks for letting me know. I didn’t know you could find the torso elsewhere.
I was able to pick one up for 80 which was a steal in my opinion.
I got mine this past weekend.
Awesome! With the promo stack and discount definitely one of the best times to buy the set.
is the Ninjago city gardens (should you have bought) video coming soon?
That’s an interesting video idea. That means think on that one. Thanks for the feedback though. Very helpful!
Can you review the Daily Bugle? It retires in December 2024

An excellent set! Highly encourage it.
Thanks for the feedback!
How is it retiring already? It's too early. It iust
came out...
I know. It does feel like it’s leaving soon.

Hopefully you can still get! The NINJAGO city gardens was an amazing set to buy regardless though.
Nice score.
Cool set just won’t be for everyone.
@@TheBrickQuest No, I mean the score. It's nicccccccccce.
Such a stunning video! I really enjoyed that one!
Thanks! Fun set to make a video on and build.
