why have leather if you are just going to cover it up?

I got seat covers because I go to the beach a ton, and I'm do tons of DIY dirtywork at home. Just makes cleaning up the truck easy and I don't feel bad messing up my leather with sand, sea water, and whatever other chemical ends on my pants/hands.

I have bought some jeans from Walmart that did the same thing. That happens when they aren't prewashed

I don't quite understand the idea behind getting seat covers. You demonstrated that you can clean the 'stain' off of your seat, so it's not really stained, just dirty. What's the point of wanting them to look good if you don't see them because they're under a seat cover anyway? All in all I suppose the back pocket argument is fine, but hey, it's a truck in the end. Also if I was going to be using the truck for a lot of abuse like you say, I'd probably not opt for the high end lariat trim. Glad it's working for you though.

keeps the seats in better condition throughout the years.

Makes it better when you sell it in the future. So many used cars that I've seen have the seats trashed and turn me off from wanting to buy it.

For re-sale. It's proven that the interior condition of a vehicle is a good indication of how the truck was taken care of . Including maintenance. You can trust carfax any more than you can trust a liberal

it's been 4 months , How have they held up? NOT in terms of rips etc (I'm sure canvas is going to hold up in that capacity ) But HOW IS THE VERY FRONT OF THE SEAT COVER? THAT IS THE PART THAT ALWAYS LIFTS AND SLIDES AROUND. how is the fit staying fit to the seat? the sides of the seat always pull up from getting in and out of the truck. thanks

Still rock solid. Granted I’ve been driving less lately but they look the same as day 1 IMO

Get a arm rest cover also. I'm in construction too so sweaty arms resting on og material gets it dirty fast.

You’re right I’m going to order one now

I also had to clean the blue off the synthetic black leather (leatherette) from my blue jeans when I had my 2017 Jeep Renegade Desert Hawk; it was only on the driver side. I guess the blue residual dye is from cheap jeans, either way the seats looked good after cleaning and conditioning. I have not encountered that problem yet with my 2023 Lariat; time will tell.

Man where do we buy these expensive non-staining jeans?

I’ve never used seat covers, i have leather seats in my 2010 Altima coupe right now and have held up real well, but now when I get my maverick (still waiting for it to ship 2 weeks post build completion) it seems people I’m watching have installed seat covers. Maybe I’ll look into them?

I don’t think they are for everyone but I love them

Can you still feel the seat warmers with the cover ?

My drivers seat is a mess also. The brown dye is totally wearing off on the back cushion. I only have 8500 miles on it!! I doubt it's covered under warranty either.

Have you tried cleaning it yet? Mine looked pretty bad and came super clean

I see that yours cleaned up. I am pretty sure mine is completely just worn off to the base color, but I will try and see what happens. @@brendandrives

I would have appreciated some installation instructions and photos. I purchased the covers and now am struggling with the bottom straps because the existing front seat change catcher loops have wires going through them.

They are a pain for sure. I followed their instructions as closely as possible and they haven’t budged so far

I don’t think it’s leather I believe it’s recycled vinyl made to look & feel like leather. Just wash it.

I’d cover the seats because they look horrible. It shouldn’t be the only option for a lariat. Brown doesn’t go with everything.

U stain them with your jeans.. wipe it off or buy better jeans & don't get in your truck with pillars in your back pocket. ( how does that) it looks fine now. O didn't see the seat cover. Not good bud.

What a pain! Do you have cheap jeans? Just buy a cheap towel to sit on. When it’s dirty throw it in the washing machine.
