  • In this video I give a full in depth tour of the 2003 volkswagen eurovan. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this van while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this van designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

Our family got one of these for a cross country trip in 2003, except ours was the camper edition (everything the same except the rear bucket seats face backwards with a fold up table between them and the bench seat; and the roof pops up to form a tent/bed. We were traveling with family who had an excursion. The VW has twice the space for both passengers and luggage. Engine is strong enough to burn rubber. The van weighs a lot and drives like a commercial truck. Gets 19-21 mpg. GREAT traveling

@@antonioc2017 they're pretty reliable, as long as you don't get one that has problems. However, because they're aging, they're starting to rust and bits in the engine bay tend to start to go. It's hit or miss really.

The VR6 engine has an awesome sound, but it's made to be in a sports car like the Corrado it was made for. This is a car that's supposed to have a diesel in it, great MPG and torque.
This isn't an MPV (multi purpose) which is what we in Europe call minivans. I think Espace/Odysse like cars should be called MPVs and "small vans" like this Eurovan should be called minivans, makes more sense than putting this in the same class as other MPVs when it's so different.

@gardmans1 ive spent alot of time there. alot of the spellings and such have rubbed off on me. im not canadian btw. yet ;). the a8 with that diesel to me kicks arse. an ddiesels tend to last for ages as well. one thing i dont get, is i see alof of the audis with problems. usually electrical. and sometimes fires. many times tho this could be blamed on maintenance issues ( or lack thereof)

@toyota4life94 Well, after hearing the story of your first 4Runner, I was expecting something like that to happen. Leather seats is a nice touch, the comfort in those almost rivals my Caddy.
