For anyone that it’s still not connecting make sure you’ve cleared out other garage door connections by holding the first and third opener buttons. Also, depending on your garage opener you may have to hold the learn button on the garage door opener logic board until it lights up then hold the button you just set. It will take a few seconds and then it will learn it.
I have a question... Is the button that you hold on the garage fob is the one you open the garage door right? So you hold the garage door button on the fob and whatever number you like to have it programmed. Am I understanding you?
I’ve always heard it’s bad for the motor. Makes lifters fail and stuff like that. I ordered a Diablo sport tuner and tuned the truck and shut that off. About 500 bucks. Another thing you can do for around1500 is get the cam lifters and other stuff and have it basically rebuilt to delete it
Yeah I’ve looked into it, but it’s really expensive. It looks like you need the headlights, a harness, Hood, and grill. It did stink they only ran this model 2 years before they made a new look...
You have awesome videos 👍, I have a 99 Chevy Z71 that a air flow problems the control on the dash don’t work it flows out the vents in the back of the truck but not in the front, would you have any idea if it’s the control or under the dash
Dustin T thanks, the switch that turns from vents to defrost does not work, I’m thinking it the Controls on the dash but not sure, your in Arkansas I’m outside of Springfield Missouri
What is older? 2015? My remotes are just a couppe years older than 2015. When following the instructions, the lights on the truck buttons are doing what it should be, but in the end, it won't open or close the garage. Frustrating.

To clear the existing memory, hold the 1st and 3rd simultaneously until the light flashes. About 10 secs.

Worked great, but had to clear mine first. Better video would have shown the extra 30 seconds it takes to clear codes in the same video.

In my 2014 z71 the heated mirrors are turned on when you turn on rear defrost.

likely it is the blend door motor or possibly the control but unlikely
2019 hc did not work, light blinked fast, but when I let go it did not open the door
