I snagged the Amex Gold right before to revamp kicked in $250 AF until next year. They added 2x on hotels, cruises, car rentals which is odd since the Amex Green is 3x makes you wonder what the Amex Green revamp will be.

I just don’t get y’all logic. Literally “trashing” card…but promptly orders new one. Which means y’all will have the whole keep or cancel convo come renewal. 😂
@@newagain9964 for me, I just got this card in May for the 90,000-point intro / welcome bonus, so I might as well get the new color for the aesthetic, but I’m planning to cancel it in May if they don’t give me a retention offer The new credits don’t justify paying an extra $75 per year for me since I tend to go to local coffee shops instead of Dunkin’ and may or may not go to a Resy restaurant twice per year

I grabbed the white gold on my Business Gold it looks like crap lol. I immediately requested a change back to classic gold, the white gold makes the card look cheap they should have done a better design job to make it look better.

Of course not. The ole time value of money tells us why would I give you $75 today to get $84 back over a year... I don't think it's worth it, however if you've been dealing with Amex this long, well you know what you get. This is why I find it hard to get upset

If I'm not mistaken, any MR points card earns 2X on travel through the portal.

I got my biz gold in November. Go into the app and replace the existing card. There's an option to change the design

I've read new fees start in October. Amex does have to notify you in writing of a fee change either 45-90 days before it takes effect.
