That thing was aggravating me and I wasn't even using it 😂
😂😂😂 me 2 lol
He's Great... 😂
Me too
This comment should have been headed with a spoiler alert. As loyal followers know, one can never tell from James reactions, until the very end, how he feels about a product. Seriously, the “Oh,man. This thing…….”, could mean anything!😏😉As I noted in my comment; when that piece of cracker, shot ten feet out the front of that thing, I lost it! 😂
Totally frustrating! Horrible!
Imagine prototyping that design and going "yeah, that'll do." 😂
I'm sure "that'll do" is all they were aiming for so, Great Success!!
Yes! By the time he got to the sprinkles in the corner I was arrrrrrrrgh😂.
It amazes me how the design processes work in some of these companies 🙄
"What about this whole on the bottom? Things seem to fall off of it"
"We'll call it a feature! It's so the dirt can 'breath' inside"
Usually it's not a "that'll do" but a "the investors don't care if it's not ready, you'll release it NOW"
if this doesn't make it to the "honorable mentions" (if not on the actual list) for the worst of 2023, I would be surprised.
It's certainly in the pool of contenders thus-far!
I agree. This item looks terrible! It's a great concept that ended up being a terrible one.
Looks like the tried and true broom and dust pan win again. 😊
Or a vacuum cleaner, ain't no need to fiddle with this triangle on a rod.
Another great review....they save me $$ to squash the hypes on tv & see how a product REALLY works. TY Bailey for your contribution.
I'm glad you tested it, but it's definitely not worth $60. I wouldn't even pay $20 for it.
I'd just use a broom and dustpan looking at that mess it was making.
i would not want that even for free :D
I would rather go to the Dollar Tree and get a mop handle and some of the various heads that they sell to go along with it to help clean your floors. I don't think they have anything with brushes on the bottom but they have broom heads. And it's a $1 25 for each
Nothing beats the good old dustpan and brush.
I love all your pet hair gadget reviews!! Bailey is such a great product review helper ❤
My fav is his pet hair on his clothes lol.
We love Bailey!!! ❤
She such a good girl.🐶
This isn't a pet hair removal tool
She contributed without even knowing it. 😆
$60 for this. Save a extra money and get a cordless vacuum on sale for ~100 to ~150$.
don’t tell me or anyone else how to spend their money. do you understand me?!
Or a broom. Lol. Would work better then this junk of a “sweeper”. 😂
@@TheKevinPa broom won't do much on carpet. A black and Decker cordless vacuum is under $100.
@@Valspartame_MaelstromWell - aren’t you being a bit snippy today! Your comment wasn’t really called for!!!
@@sandybruce9092 Please don't feed the troll.
Thank you so much for all of your reviews. I use your videos all of the time to shop for things that will help me around the house
I used to watch your videos a lot, this is the first to pop up in my TH-cam feed in MONTHS! I checked, and you do upload often, and I’m subscribed and have all notifications turned on. How disappointing that the “algorithm” is hiding stuff from me that I actually want to watch…
Hi, I really appreciate you being willing to try these annoying products, so I can save my money! There's nothing Zippy about that thing 😆 other than how fast it made a mess! One last comment I promise... You seem to have a great attitude regardless and I'm guessing a lovely character to match. Thank you 😊
My grandma had one of these in the 90's but it was manual. It had the roller things and youd push it around like a carpet swiffer.
Can't beat an old fashioned style vacuum.
Great review as always.
Disappointed that I didn't get the "hiyah" when he threw the coffee grounds on the floor.
I got tired of vacuums quit working so I bought an off brand wet dry ShopVac type (5gal) at Walmart about 6 years ago. Got an attachment for rug/carpet on Amazon, (it did come with some attachments). That thing vacuums so well, never fails, always great suction. The bags for it a bit pricey, tho $17 for 3 but they hold a lot. Light enough to carry around too!
it shooting the mess everywhere is bad design but im pretty sure that front brush is suppose to knock the things away from the wall and corner so it can actually get to it.
but its kinda funny that it does it even when its not at the wall making it harder to clean.
I have a similar kind and I think the problem is they do not have suction, The belt broke on my real vacuum so I used the sweeper for the week and when I got the real vacuum working and went over the carpet it sucked up all the crumbs and dirt that was still sitting in the fibers, I filled the canaster in 1 go around the floor, I do have 2 cats who play out in the back yard so they bring in lots of fine dirt.
So when you spilled the sweeper on your carpet im sure it pushed a lot into the carpet,
I use mine for a 10 min fast tide up when someone calls and say's im getting coffee and on my way over lol
I also have the robot vac but the problem with that thing is I have to clean up the cat toys and shoe laces and phone chargers and close the bathroom door because these is a 1 inch drop so when it goes in it can't get out and I have to close the basement door and bedroom doors,
So while it works good I find my self using the broom more than any thing.
I'll go to Dollar Tree and get a 1.25 dustpan and brush lol, thanks for the review.
It reminds me of the old swivel sweeper(red model) from the early/mid 2000’s and how bad it was at cleaning. First run it did ok but after it wouldn’t hold a charge and collected more dust than picked up.
I had the same experience with the Swivel Sweeper. I liked it for quick, small messes, but after awhile, it wouldn't hold a charge. I bought a replacement battery, and even that didn't help.
Yeah, the batteries for that thing were the worst. At least with the later generations you could remove the brushes to clean them, but those original ones sucked to try and get hair off of. I would spend more time trying to cut off the hair with the attached seam ripper than I did cleaning with it.
You must test the cooling belt Sparkle Tornado. Semes awesome.
I'm glad I watched this video , before purchase. Changed my mind. 👍Thanks! For the info.
My mom uses the swivel sweeper mainly on hard floor and loves it so much she bought me one. It’s basically the same idea but rectangular. I didn’t like it so much and just switched to a regular stick vacuum.
If you have to go over a mess several times to get all of the crumbs, that would drive me batty!!! If it is tipped over the stuff that was just vacuumed up, and it falls out, is definitely a fail!!! The design is for this vacuum is a big fail!!! Thanks for the video, James, at least you tried to make it work!
This is a hard pass! I still love my Shark Vac-Mop. Doesn't do carpet, but it's great on hard floors.
I agree Shark makes some of the better cordless sweepers as I have two(work and home) of the smaller ones(they also make a large 12in wide version), and I can't speak for thick carpet, but they do great on low to medium pile rugs as long as they don't have really deep thick ridge like a front door rug. Plus they have never ran out of power doing my whole single story house, or building at work with the 1,000 Mah battery that's cheap as chips to replace when they finally die, as least thick cat hair has not been a problem for the unit I have at home.
I wonder if the companies watch his reviews.
Thank you for your service, testing this things for us👍😎
Great review, thanks James! ❤
I recently bought an O Cedar ProMist MAX Microfiber Spray Mop. The same concept as a Swiffer, but doesn't require constantly purchasing proprietary cleaning supplies. Doesn't appear you've reviewed this, so I'd be interested in what you make of it. I'm pretty happy so far, but it's only seen one floor cleaning to date.
I agree...the design is great, it swivels and the shape should get the edges & corners.
Unfortunately the execution was horrendous.
I love this channel so many honest reviews.
I am so hesitant buying things that are powered by battery. It's more about convenience then actually doing a better job cleaning. I'd rather hold a cord up and get better cleaning then poor cleaning 😮
The shark cordless sweepers are really good for the money, and pick up way more as I have 2 (work and home) plus the replacement batteries online are cheap as dirt being the same type used in older cordless house phones, and it's 1,000Mah which means they are also easier to recycle as well.
I'm so glad you tested this and shared the results. I would hate to have wasted $79 for nothing.
I'm pretty sure the point of the brush at the front is for things like corners or up against walls like how he showed in the coffee grounds. It's *supposed* to kick out the stuff so that you can actually get to it with the other parts of the vacumn. Doesn't excuse that it''s still a pretty bad product but, I just think you overlooked what that feature was for
Would you consider doing a video comparing vacuum mops?
Nice job Bailey girl.. ur fur helped out. ❤❤❤😊😊
Yep i had an electric carpet sweeper, with rotating brushes. It worked well cos it had a vacuum and decent motor with a cord to the wall. Anything battery is not going to have grunt, and sooner or later the batts die. Recycled if ya lucky. I dont know bout the U.S. but our recycle dumps are all having mysterious fires. India too.
Arson
Back to the drawing board on that one.
I had a corded stick vac from Walmart that cost under $30. It lasted for years. It worked great on bare floors, rugs and carpet. I never had to worry about it losing power. I never had to replace an expensive battery or worry about it overheating. I'm not a fan of cordless products.
I got mine from a garage sale. It wasn’t even for sale. I was walking around and saw it. I asked the lady how did it work for her? She said it’s okay, if that’s your thing? I said it seems cool. She said 20 bucks and it’s yours. I laughed as she was looking for the charger. Bottom line… this video is very accurate. An old fashioned broom would work better in my opinion. However! My kids thinks this invention is genius. And they fight over using it. They all want to zippi!! My HUSBAND WANTS TO ZIPPI!! Sigh… what a Godsend. ❤❤❤❤
I'd be 80 by the time I finished cleaning a room. Deng, that thing is slow. I'm happy you test this stuff before we make the poor choice of buying.
I bought the “Swivel Sweeper Touchless” 10 or so years ago. Same thing only it’s rectangular, works a little better than this one. I like it around the cat box.😎👍
Thanks for the tip. That is my exact use case. I hate stepping on cat litter.
My shark handheld is wonderful for small messes, and it has actual suction!
Hi James, there are several other/newer versions of the Ninja Cremi, can you please review one or more of them? Thanks
For a real test of this, you should throw down a handful of glitter!🤣😈
It won't show us anything different, but the cursing when the glitter keeps showing up in future videos would be hilarious!
Zippi huh? Wow! They must have spent minutes thinking up that name 🤔 how original 🙄 Great video as always James Happy Sunday
Please do a review of the iWoly vacuum. It really surprised me.
You should do some air purifier reviews. With more and more wildfires and weather changes etc. It would be cool to see some in depth reviews etc on purifiers. They have a few channels that review them. But not very well
Thanks for the review, that one goes right to the no waydsection
Thank you for your videos.
Got one on qvc a long time ago. Long hair winds around the brushes but it works pretty good and has lasted for years. Nice review. Thanks.
Have you tried Socket Fan? Something to review maybe. Sorry if you already did that one.
You have to clean after you clean 😂
You completely reminded me of Melanie Griffith from the movie Working Girl.... 💪 ✔️
How do manufacturers think a product like this will work correctly? I was laughing throughout the video 😂
In 2012 I moved out of my parents house and my mom bought me a $10 hand vacuum. It is one of those old tan ones with the wall mount/charger from the 90s. I still have it and use it to this day, but it only lasts about 15 minutes.
Despite all of that... it is still 20x better than this vacuum.
This product reminds me of the swivel sweeper that my parents bought when I was younger. It too also didn’t work well
Use the horizontal spinning brush to get debris off the wall and corners. But be aware of the direction it spinning to avoid it "kicking" debris.
Then use the flat end. You will get better results.
Thanks for showing us what not to buy.
Not all heroes wear capes. My OCD was triggered after this. Thank you!!
Yeah, no lol. I had a Bissell Perfect Sweep for several years and loved it. Ended up buying one for my mom and sister, too.
This is like a triangle version of the swivel sweeper
Fantastic job with the stuff you picked for messes. Great review, shame it didn’t work better. 😢😢😢😢
Can you try the new 3rd generation Dirt Devil Broomvac?
It tossing cracker crumbs was so hilarious 😂
The news when you did the sprinkle test I noticed the floor was scratched. Did the sweeper do that?
Not going to get one now after this vey clear demo.
Thank you for doing the video, very informative.
I was about to buy one, here in Australia they charge $130 + $12 P&H
No thanks!
In my opinion, this is a solution looking for the problem. I'd rather take out a stick vacuum for all of these messes and the dirt capacity would be bigger as well.
😂😂😂😂😂Thanks for reviewing this!!!! Can you return it? That's why Amazon is great - easy returns.
GOOD VID.THIS IS WHY I LOVES YOUR VIDS.
Thanks for spending the time and money so we don't have tooooooooooooooo!
Ive been using the same model of shark vac for years and its still my favorite sweeper.
Its $30, and has a massive trash bin.
You will need a vac brush cleaner or pair of scissors to get all the hair out.
Thank you for the great review as always! I feel like these sweeper things have been for decades in various shapes and sizes. Remember when around 2005 swivel sweeper was all the rage?
I still use a Bissell Sweeper for light duty work. Tried and tested design, really quiet, and no batteries or electricity required.
On the carpet, that thing sounded like Bumblebee when he got captured by the Feds in the first Michael Bay Transformer movie.
It’s a no for me but I always enjoy your review videos!
Yesterday I watched a video from Techmoan about a pocket sized record player. It's kind of the same picture.
thanks for another great review...I'll stick with my cheap, but paid for, stick vac
nothing beats a good broom 😂
No, I think I'll go with that great invention called "broom and dust pan"
Walmart has a corded ionvac its 20 bucks and great for pet hair on hard floors
Personally I love the commercial. It's guaranteed to make me laugh every time they run the thing over stuff.
Because you never see if it actually picked anything up except the one where they probably dragged it along the wall. 😂
Ok, scratch this off my list of possibilities.
People tested, roach approved 😏
What a perfect gift for my enemy. Right when i thought it couldn't get worse, it did. This was hilarious, haha!!
Classic as seen on TV... even using old battery technology. No over charge protection? Top comedy.
The triangle of sadness.
The brush is designed to go along the wall to kick the dirt away from it so it can vacuum it. That's the way robot vacuum do it at least
That's about what I figured. And they want $80.00 for it on the TV ads! I wouldn't take one of these things even if they were giving them away. What I want to know is - where can I get one of those Mandelbrot posters on the wall behind him??
Seems like an old fashioned broom would be more efficient and cheaper
He needs to try the dirt devil version
I wonder if he actually posts a review on the amazon product page with detailed findings or just a link to this vid?🤔
i have a shark vac vx2 i use it a lot for my room.
They should change the name to The Crappy Sweeper!
Heh, yeah.... I kinda get what they were going for, but it's just a bad idea.
At first, when I saw the thumb I thought this was going to be a self wringing triangular mop that I've already seen in some places... but this is basically putting together the part I hate the most on broom style vacuum cleaners and multiplying it by 3. xD
I'll often just use a portable vacuum instead of the broom just to avoid having to clear hair from those brushes.
My guess is that they tried to do a multi-directional broom and dustpan combo all in one.... but that's a bit like designing a product that doesn't understand the principle. Mashing stuff together to see if it works.
How a broom and dustpan, or one of those circular brushes work, is by using directionality in it's favor. Some of the dirt gets pushed up into the dustpan or a vacuum tube, some stays on the floor but gets pushed together in the same dustpile, which grows and makes it easier to gather.
If it's coming from all directions, this doesn't work, and you end up spreading stuff around.
That spinning bush in particular was an even worse add. I don't even like those in robo vacuums, but they are meant to dislodge dirt and dust trapped in corners, compensating for the round design that most robo vacuums have. This being triangular and not a vacuum it doesn't make much sense for them to be there. It just flings stuff around because, well, that's the only thing it can do. Just that there is no vacuum being pulled to get at least part of what is being dislodged.
The triangular mop is weird but perhaps a better idea? Have you seen those James? The corners fold inwards to wring the cloth. Haven't tested them myself, the system I like the best so far is the rectangular mops with a hollow square attachment on the side... I was using those with a special cleaning and wringing bucket, but despite working well they are just less practical... it's a hassle to clean the bucket.
Broom and a dustpan would take seconds. With that you make multiple trips. Had to edit, cuz you said it at the end too. Haha
Your expecting it to be perfect keeping it flat against the floor,
but even regular vacuum and brooms have to be lifted at times.
Even a regular vacuum might scatter stuff on a bare floor.
Why didn't you lift it and then place it down on top
of some of the stuff that was left.?
I don't think it perfect, but then again, it is ok for the price.
The look of it looks like a smart design but as soon as they built a prototype they should have cancelled any further work on it. I can't believe that actually got released.
Thank you for this review. Really hink that should have performed better being it was $60.00.
Me: GD that's loud af
FR: Not too loud, that's good!
Lol...must be louder on camera.
Thank You Kindly for the vid and your channel ..... that thing is about as useful as a chocolate teapot
peace
Looks like the old school Fuller Brush Sweeper works better. Why am I not surprised.
