they are banning discussion of GLBTQ in public schools in the US because somehow knowing GLBTQ people exist ruins childhood despite the fact that I used to be a kid in public schools who thought he was broken because he wasn't like the other kids. i was a boy who liked boys and quickly learned that wasnt ok and it completely fucked me up (among other things). it boggles my mind various states in the US are passing bills mandating elemantary school children learn and have access to first aid supplies needed for schoot shootings but god fucking forbid we acknowledge how some of these kids have GLBTQ parents or the kids themselves are GLBTQ. And I know a bunch of idiots are going to jump on me and screech about both sides and division but only one side is legislating adults like me out of existance but also kids who are GLBTQ as well and are purposely passing legislation to drive GLBTQ kids to suicide or to otherwise get out of the public school system and basically just go away.
