This franchise just screams enjoyment and having a polished experience. Uncharted 2 changed the way I saw videogames with its set pieces and story telling.
In regards to Nate's luck I was just thinking that might be the case when playing this morning! I personally liked to imagine that he wasn't getting hit, the bullets were just getting closer to hitting him. Seemed more realistic. Turns out the devs thought that too!
The luck vs a traditional health/damage meter is actually pretty clever and more realistic and fitting to the storytelling. Since Drakes just a normal human it doesn’t make sense for him to be constantly eating bullets and brushing off mortal gun wounds by just sitting still for a bit…
5:13 I always imagined the bullets barely missing the player rather than hitting them because not only does that make me feel cooler but its much more realistic.
It is funny that nobody seems to mention the signs in the city in UC2 - Many have noticed “Hotel Eldorado” but not so many has noticed “Club Raja” named after Eddy Raja in UC1 - but thanks anyway :-)
I always felt the character was based off of Nathan Fillion. His looks and character are very similar to how Nathan is often portrayed in his tv roles.
Actually Nate is 38 in Uncharted 4. It's 3 years after Uncharted 3, and I'm almost sure that in the game website they said he was 38 before the release.
That would've been great stunt casting, might be too old now tho, but then again he is playing indiana Jones still in a new movie. Paul Rudd should've been Nathan and Harrison Ford as Sully
Exactly ... One and 3 is good. 2 and 4 are absolute gems !!! My Personal Advice would be not to rush through it ... Savour the game at each level it gets better and better .... Enjoy
Nathan Fillion would have been amazing as Nathan once upon a time but unfortunately that moment passed us by. Even in the fan movie he's already a little older than ideal. This would have had to happen back around when Castle first launched.
Nate admitted that he was scared of clowns when his future wife Reporter Ms. Fisher nearly died in Shambala she said “how scared were you when you thought I was going to die” Nate said “a two” few minutes later he says “clowns … clowns now that’s a ten on the scared-o-meter”
at a buffet, i personally sneak corndogs into the buffet so others can enjoy them. I hide 6 corndogs in my jacket pockets. it then, is a joy for me to see other patrons of the establishment eat my corndogs thinking they were part of the buffet.
While that would be cool, TLOU would take place *WAAAY* after U4. Speaking of different franchises potentially interweaving with one another, the later Tomb Raider games have so many references and vice versa! ‘Lost City,’ ‘Immortality’
Idk how Nathan Fillion isn't he one playing Drake in the Actual Movie! THEY HAVE THE SAME FACE!!! Though i did enjoy him playing Nathan Drake in that Fan Movie!
But it would be really Great if they creat the uncharted the lost leagcy with sam and sully but sully wasnt in every chapter and chloe be a story charachter but the one We have Is good too
I discovered Uncharted very late for myself (just finished part II on PS3 few months ago). I also got the Remaster of 1-3 and am excited for Uncharted 3 (and then 1-3 again, on PS4 lol).
Man I Souls have loved to Play an Uncharted Game about Sully and Sam. Sully is my favourite Charakter in the series the guy is so lovable and considarate which makes it more sad
I kinda feel like the actors could have been like swapped out and in like Chris Pratt could have been drake might have been weird but I think it's a bit better than Nathan fillon sense I always think of him as buck from halo and mark I feel like if he doesn't have a lot of bad jokes and sounds like an angry guy from Boston like in TF:AOE and maybe does something with his hair to make him look more like Sam I would like it
They could've made this movie base after the last game. This has the worst cast ever nobody looks anything from the games. I'll pass on video game movies.
Ah Uncharted, the epitome of a popular series that only lived off of hype and its status as a platform exclusive. It’s remarkable how the Uncharted series can make journalists believe the sequel deserves a 10/10 rating even though it has the _exact_ same gameplay mechanics as the first entry that had a more average reception.
I've played the ENTIRE Uncharted series, first on XBOX then on PS4 and PS5. this is hands down one of my fave games. RDR2 is right underneath. I don't see myself not playing this series anytime soon.
This franchise just screams enjoyment and having a polished experience. Uncharted 2 changed the way I saw videogames with its set pieces and story telling.
I played through Uncharted 1 & 2 recently and just started 3. Having a *BLAST* so far!
Ooo have fun. Play part 4 it's great
There are freaking demons in the third game! 🔥
Make sure you play U4 Lost Legacy and if you have a vita Golden Abyss
Completed 1-4 and completed lost legacy a month or so ago
Welcome to the
Club! 4 is my favourite
In regards to Nate's luck I was just thinking that might be the case when playing this morning! I personally liked to imagine that he wasn't getting hit, the bullets were just getting closer to hitting him. Seemed more realistic. Turns out the devs thought that too!
I feel like Uncharted Really did make the way I am today. It made me really adventurous and It was one of the first video Games I ever played
Love it when the content creator includes timestamps!

At the end of Uncharted 2 Nate was expressing his fear of clowns to Elena rating it higher than fearing her death :)
7:00 “The devs didn’t love the idea of a teen mass murdering goons.” Well, in the uncharted games at least.
Ironic eh
5:13 I always imagined the bullets barely missing the player rather than hitting them because not only does that make me feel cooler but its much more realistic.
fear of clowns was mentioned at the of the game of Uncharted 2
that thumbnail though ☠️ drake’s had it rough since the last game
You mean they were working on the movie for a decade and it still came out like that? Jesus...
jake gyllenhaal *cough* I mean rafe adler *cough* gave uncharted a game award back in the day. i cannot believe I never knew this !
It is funny that nobody seems to mention the signs in the city in UC2 - Many have noticed “Hotel Eldorado” but not so many has noticed “Club Raja” named after Eddy Raja in UC1 - but thanks anyway :-)
not really relevant to the video though - but you're welcome

Neil druckman has said in an interview that drake is in his 40s in Uncharted 4
I don't see Mark and Tom as Drake and Sully, it's like they're new characters.
Tom Holland looks *just* like young Drake.
@@ZyliceLiddell he does remind me of young Nate but 12 years old not 26
"The devs didn't love the idea of a teenager mass-murdering goons"
*stares in The Last of Us Parts 1 and 2*
ND probably thought "nah we already have a game and its upcoming sequel for that"
If you "never knew" Nate was afraid of clowns, you never played Uncharted 2. It's like one of the most iconic dialogues he has with Elena.
Or they just don't remember because the games are pretty forgettable even if you play them 6 times in a row for the Plats.
Uncharted 1's story has held up brilliantly, its also where it all began so I hold it at on a high pedestal.
Love all of em, especially 1&4.
My favorite franchise.
Harrison Ford should be playing Sully in the movie
That would've been great stunt casting, might be too old now tho, but then again he is playing indiana Jones still in a new movie. Paul Rudd should've been Nathan and Harrison Ford as Sully
Unchaterd 2 was the best both story and and multiplayer
I'd like to see a spin off game about Cutter.
Still kinda mad spider man is playing drake. I’m sorry but we need someone more drake
Been playing since the beginning. It's my favorite franchise in all of gaming.
Nate doesn’t say his greatest fear is clowns. Just that it’s a 10/10 on the fear factor
The luck thing actually makes sense because the only Time we see Nate have bullet wounds is when he gets shot in cutscenes
Knew the majority of these facts. It's literally one of my favorite gaming franchises.
Recently started playing the collection just finished Drake's fortune
The first one is the "least good" of the series
If you already liked it, you're in for a blast
Exactly ... One and 3 is good. 2 and 4 are absolute gems !!! My Personal Advice would be not to rush through it ... Savour the game at each level it gets better and better .... Enjoy
@@shivademons6707 iam currently playing 2 and enjoying it very much
@@anakindarthjedi9264 awesome ... UC 4 is a Masterpiece ❤️
@@shivademons6707 I am actually playing the series for the first time and saving 4 and lost legacy for last

Those 15min will be better than that movie
Cool video 👍👏
I really wish they'll add uncharted 2 and 3 on steam. The only one they've added si far is Uncharted 4 and Legacy on Thieves
As a fellow New Jerseyian, I hear you on the weather constantly changing.
Chris Pratt would’ve been great as Nathan drake
So cool thanks for this video
Nice video
2:48 U4 actually takes place 3 years after U3 making Nate 38 not 40.
Hopefully the movie Is good or it's going be on another list
Tbh its obvious that We need another Badass Uncharted or Somethin New but Similar
Nolan is also terrified of clowns
Oh Sam is still a villain... to Nate's happiness
Soooo no one's gonna mention the monkey island reference from UC4?
Yay I knew everything in this facts videos
Travis Touchdown from No More Heroes is also based on Johnny Knoxville.
In the bar of the tlou ref, there is not only the journal but the bar is also in tlou
Harrison Ford should've played Sully.
Nate admitted that he was scared of clowns when his future wife Reporter Ms. Fisher nearly died in Shambala she said “how scared were you when you thought I was going to die” Nate said “a two” few minutes later he says “clowns … clowns now that’s a ten on the scared-o-meter”
Trust Gamespot to give us facts we already knew, like that clown one is literally mentioned in an unmissable cutscene
If Nathan Fillion were to play Nathan that would've blew my mind, Nathan is by far one of the best actors imo
as per completing all of these games with platinum trophies, I knew most of these
So Sam was originally Nates brother after all, snap
Imagine Johnny notsville as Nathan drake in the film XD.......still better idea then Tom Holland
thank god they didnt use knoxville
at a buffet, i personally sneak corndogs into the buffet so others can enjoy them. I hide 6 corndogs in my jacket pockets. it then, is a joy for me to see other patrons of the establishment eat my corndogs thinking they were part of the buffet.
nathan drake was 40?
I was really disappointed in this straight from Wikipedia common trivia video.
Another Fact is Uncharted 3 and 4 Takes Place Around the Last of us Universe
While that would be cool, TLOU would take place *WAAAY* after U4. Speaking of different franchises potentially interweaving with one another, the later Tomb Raider games have so many references and vice versa! ‘Lost City,’ ‘Immortality’
The guy presenting the video is not that interesting but still is a interesting video
Idk how Nathan Fillion isn't he one playing Drake in the Actual Movie! THEY HAVE THE SAME FACE!!! Though i did enjoy him playing Nathan Drake in that Fan Movie!
Chole Frazier is still smoking hot 🥵🔥 💕
But it would be really Great if they creat the uncharted the lost leagcy with sam and sully but sully wasnt in every chapter and chloe be a story charachter but the one We have Is good too
Lost legacy should have been Chloe and Charlie Cutter, but guess ND have other priorities now 😂
better than the last of us part II
I discovered Uncharted very late for myself (just finished part II on PS3 few months ago). I also got the Remaster of 1-3 and am excited for Uncharted 3 (and then 1-3 again, on PS4 lol).
I knew literally all of these things but that’s probably because I have a problem and am obsessed with this series
But We will Know after watching the video 😂
"I've never understood the fear of clowns..."
Somebody needs to acquaint this man with The Joker.
thank god we didnt get Chris Pratt
Man I Souls have loved to Play an Uncharted Game about Sully and Sam. Sully is my favourite Charakter in the series the guy is so lovable and considarate which makes it more sad

Thinking about it Nathan fillin could have been a good Nathan Drake if he was playing like an older version of him
Chris pratt would be better than Tom Holland
They could've made this movie base after the last game. This has the worst cast ever nobody looks anything from the games. I'll pass on video game movies.
Lol Sully's age... Riiight... Nadine just got lucky and got her own spinoff.... Riiiiiiiiiiiiight... What a bunch of bullsht
The movie is about Nate during his teenage years so Tom Holland IS NOT Too young for the role.
Besides, Tom looks *just* like young Nathan Drake.
Yeah, it's Wahlberg that's the wide miss.
What do you mean "fortunately" Pratt turned it down? I think he'd be pretty good
👍
Maybe the franchise could be revamped with a new central character, with an older Nate playing a role similar to Sully's.
Now they just need to release whole series on PC and not just UC4
Sup
6:34 HA I think we all already figured that out by now, and knew exactly why she felt so out of place.
The Drake is a lie.
