Nice. I am working on a 49 KB-3 myself. Stripped down to the frame and about to work my way back up. One thing I noticed taking it apart is that there are no x/16 size wrenches needed anywhere.
A rust free International! They do exist! Nice build, I had been lusting over a KB6 at Dick and Mike's. Not to be though. I admire the original look but what little rust that beautiful body has needs to be taken care of. With a bit of airbrush magic it can be hidden quite well. By the way, Shane at the Hodge Podge Dodge Garage sent me your way! Be safe and have fun! Terry from South Carolina
I'm getting old or he's really a kid, "ign module", like for electronic ign, on that truck, please......, voltage regulator for a generator, is more like it, don't worry about what that is, you don't need to know about full fielding and polarizing, just get a 12v one wire alt for it, which I'm sure you know about
OH Snap! What a killer idea. Yes, clear coating it will be so trick. Oh man, you channel is gonna blow up for sure bud. the frame looks pretty good. Hey man. Get yourself a GoPro ASAP.
A production manager watched a person hit the punch as hard as you did and he had 2 days to replace the whole set, then gave me back the new set. hit them enough to mark use another punch to set the drill holes
Good morning. I just came upon your channel and I like what you have going on. I subbed your channel so I can follow you. I have a 1954 Dodge Fargo 1/2 ton that I am restoring and I hope I can learn something from following you. I hope that you will drop over to the Dog House and maybe give me some tips. I am new to restoring and I really don't know what I am doing so I can use all the help that I can get. Thanks for sharing.
ok, i will let you know when i find more too... Im planning to use the original stub axles and fit modern Ford Falcon AU hubs/discs etc... Loving your videos/posts - keep it up!
I am doing a 1935 international next and it will get the works but I have enough painted cars. I may even do a give away on the 35. I'm still doing all the figuring on it
you can tell what voltage a truck or car is by the size of the electrical wire through the truck or car. 6 volts is heavy gauge wire. 12 volts is a smaller gauge wire.
Thanks for the feedback I think I have gotten better this is one of my first videos. I also think it may be time to get a better camera I keep trying to progress
Not at all and thanks for watching. I just didn't understand what your comment but you are right i just like the trucks that few people have and i have a lot of internationals

Cool the blue diamond is an overhead valve.
I noticed you cut front engine mount with gas .
Try turning up O2 pressure next time .
Or do like I would use a disc cutter.
Sweet truck

Dude you missed out on a cool rat rod
That black box is a voltage regular
If you slow your drill bits down they will cut better and last longer
heat the bolts or bolt hears up with a propane torch then put some candle wax on them wait a few minuets then unscrew them
What an awesome channel! I can't wait to see how this turns out.
Wow, this is nice. My neighbor has a truck sort of like this one.

Its not an ignition control module, its the regulator.
Where are you located and how can I reach you? I have a similar truck in similar condition and would like to talk to someone about your restoration.
California find me on Facebook contact info there or email Jay65145@yahoo.com

@@CVcustoms You were constantly sniffing. Sounded like a runny nose. No insult intended, keep up the good work.
I don't like the lining because it comes off. Personally I just fabricate another gas tank.
Have you upgraded a K-2 drum front to discs brakes? - there are a few kits around, just wondering if you found one that fits?
I have not. But I have been looking into it
ok, i will let you know when i find more too... Im planning to use the original stub axles and fit modern Ford Falcon AU hubs/discs etc... Loving your videos/posts - keep it up!

Paint the frame, sheesh!
Shes sweet
I am looking for kb1 engine. Let me know if it is available.
Paten-a is too overrated today.
The black box on the firewall is a voltage regulator
My dad had a 49 KB3
I'm waiting on the radiator now but should have a new video soon ...... of the test drive.

You need to learn to film in one aspect ratio hold your phone either all in portrait or all in landscape

Take a tractor motor out and put a slightly later model tractor motor back in lol Just drive somewhere far from any sort of highway lol
you are the first to point that out but I had the motor and this was a budget build
Not a nice rebuilt engine but a dirty old one..hmmm
Just something I had around .... I cant rebuild them all lol
