I have a similar kit, I’m personally confused about the wiring, I am going to use my power window as a source but do I just slide my negative and postive cable into it? And just have it sit there? And do I need to ground it? Also where do I hook up the dashboard one.
Woow this is some qulity stuff finally. Unfortunatelly 110 cm is too short for my dashboard, since I have in my B8 in doors everything installed by VW. Is there a possibility to order 2 pieces 230cm?
Ur video was the reason for buying them now i run into some problem, anything works fine, backdoors and the dashboard but when i connect them inside the front doors the voltage drops to zero
hey man, got these lights. But ran into an issue. When testing, LED strips worked fine. After installing the dash 2, the longer strip only worked 3/4 of the length.... Did you have any issues later with yours? or any suggestions how to fix? Tested the door strips off the main module - all LED strips stop working at the same length - thinking it may be a power issue or the main module.
Nice! they fit pretty well in them and look really good. I helped someone else with their install on their CC and they put the strips in different spots than i did and it still came out looking great so you definitely have options of how you want to install them. Thanks for watching!

So basicially you connect the sub control boxes to a 12v power source inside the door and the main control box behind the lighter (hidden for esthetics), install the app and enjoy, right?

Hi! I just got them today I'm gonna start working on installing them soon I just need some devices about wairing? By the way I have 2014 VW-Passat can you help me please!
Hey man thanks for the video really appreciate it. I'm a big noob when it comes to the wiring side, so I just had 2 questions. With the the T-taps (yellow one), are each of the T-taps on the same wire or two different wires? Also with the multimeter are you just using the leads and getting a reading by following the wires that have been T-tapped? Thank you.
I believe you keep the black lead of multimeter on solid negative such as a screw and positive on red where you should get a reading of max 12v, is if higher than that might burn your led strip and controller. I might be wrong but maybe someone who knows better might reply
Symphony kit brings more impact to the interior of the car, elegant and more pleasing/class. Starlight less impact but a lot more work drilling the hole in the headliners.
Hello, at the :49 time mark i explained the light strips. You cant necessarily join them together like they connect to each other but you can place the shortest strip next to the longest strip to make it look like one long strip if your dash is made like that. There will be a slight gap (maybe a centimeter or 2) but its not a huge problem to me that would make it a deal breaker.
Naw I've never had that issue... I have govee floor lights and they do that all the time it's so annoying but with these ambient lights I've never had that issue
Bro I didn't wanna do el wire since the color is so off. And they fade Ina few months. And I didn't wanna do fiber optic because there not consistent and look even more off then el wire. Ordering this for my challenger. Just not sure if the "100cm" strip will be long enough.
Great video! I have a couple of questions 1. If each door needs a 12V source than what is the purpose of the main controller ? I’m guessing just to communicate to all the lights simultaneously ? 2. Let’s say I’m doing my driver door first. After I’m done installing the led and connecting it to the sub controller from there I plug in the power cable to the sub controller and tap it to a 12v source correct ? Than I have to run another cable from the sub controller to the main controller ? Or is the main controller just it’s own separate controller and communicates with the sub controllers wirelessly ? 3. Last question lol. On the main controller that has led 1 & 2. After we tap the main controller to a 12 V source. We can hook up 2 leds directly to the main controller and they should work correct ?
Yes to question 2 and 3 lol. So, like you said the main controller box is basically the "brains" it communicates with all the sub controllers. You just need a 12v source for the sub boxes and it communicates wirelessly with the main controller.

@@apesintanks162 If you watch the video from the beginning where he starts the car and the RGB turn on , between 0:07 and 0:09 (yeah, only for 3 secs), you can see through the driving wheel that when the lights start, the color yellow is "born" and moves both to the left and to the right. I was hoping i could find a longer strip or a way to make them flow in the same direction one being a continuation of the other, but for that it would be needed other kind of system like optic fiber or acrylic tubes
