A little bit about me..
Rebecca is a passionate Singer-Songwriter/Vocal coach/mentor /impressionist/photographer/creative junkie /self- development lover not a hater.
“I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well, maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumor removed summer 2016. However, despite not being able to walk for a few weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. I didn’t think ‘why me’, there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it’s not always smooth sailing. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and try to practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…we are all specks of dust…Also, thank you for all your support. It means a lot. I have suffered from anxiety from the past and self-confidence, (yeah hard to see now right) didn’t think I was ‘good, or worthy enough’ but I feel I have a new lease of life, don’t really care as much and want to show you guys what I have! : ) You are all awesome and without you, there would be no channel. - เพลง
They are all part of the LGBTQ community and they did this in response to the murder of 49 people at the Gay nightclub called Pulse in Florida. Mitch and Scott are Superfruit which they started as a side project of Pentatonix. Mario opens for them often. Brian is a friend as is Mary

i’m absolutely obsessed with this cover. all of the singers fit perfectly. one of the first that came out when I became a part of the fandom.
This song was actually how I was introduced to Pentatonix! Looked up Brian to see what he'd been up to after AGT and was absolutely floored by all of them - not just the talent, but also how they chose to use their voices to spread hope and love in response to hate! "Hallelujah" was in the previews and a Pentaholic was born - I really enjoy getting to see someone else having that moment, since I can't erase my brain and go back and do it again :-) Thanks!

Ahh yes! This is one of my favorite versions of this song. You can see that all of the singers are feeling the meaning of this song and their skill on performing it is excellent! Truly glad you reacted to this Rebecca, and glad that Kevin Soster requested it. 😊

Evolution of Lady GaGa is a great one!
First singer: Scott Hoying, of Pentatonix and SuperFruit. Scott is a lyric baritone whose range extends well into both the bass and tenor ranges.
Second singer: Mitch Grassi, also of both Pentatonix and SuperFruit. Mitch is a counter tenor with a range of over 6 octaves. And despite his successful career in Pentatonix he's still insecure about his voice due to the bullying he suffered for it in high school.
I know less about the other three, save that all five of these singers are members of the LGBTQ+ community.
Third singer: Brian Justin Crum.
Fourth singer: Mario Jose.
Fifth singer: Mary Lambert.
Their description of the video reads:

Brian Crum sings that song "Creep. He is amazing"! I love watching you get shocked. I can see it coming.
I know that my fellow Pentaholics will be telling you about Scott & Mitch, (and with 219 comments, clearly already have) :-) so I'll tell you about Brian, who indeed sang that amazing version of Creep - and just this week was on America's Got Talent: The Champions with an astonishing take on Sir Elton's "Your Song". Mario Jose has lots of videos around TH-cam, you can't go on with any of them. I recommend a duet he did with our own Scott Hoying called "Lost On You". For a totally different style from Mary Lambert, check out her "Secrets", a song she wrote.

Have long been familiar with Scott & Mitch, from Superfruit & Pentatonix. Mario has done much back-up, toured, and has even been out front with PMJ. I'm not familiar with the other two, but yes they are all true VA's.
