No she’s in the dog house mate she started digging at my newly planted acer tree/twig so she got the raving hump after we had words lol thanks again for the last vid with le koi ltd visit I finally got 2 chagoi ordered

Been keeping a sharp eye on the fish hear no odd things but will be doing a scrape or two this week just to make sure as It looks like most people seem to have bug's to start the summer off Happy ponding

@@DerbyKoi Digging out at mo, fish in a temporary home. I can send you a photo if you want mate. I have a mountain of soil on the lawn and a drive full of concrete from old pond lol.

I used fluke solve I've tried some other products which didn't work for me. Good luck shifting them. Love the channel keep up the good work mate

Hi ....Could you tell me if I have to take out any Filter Floss in my filter system when I use Fluke Solve... I'm using it for the first time....cheers eric
Hi Eric, I've never taken mine out when using fluke solve or lernex pro. It might not be a bad idea though, but replace with new floss as the old might be holding parasites and its cheap enough. 👍🏻

Cracking video again mate keep up the good work ,,,, I just found I got flukes and trich but I'm struggling find a treatment that's safe for my sturgeon , take care ,,
Bloody hell both parasites ☹, I'm not too familiar with sturgeon too try and advise, maybe someone will read this and help. Hope you get it sorted mate
Good work mate i found two flukes on my koi n was unsure whether to fluke solve them or not but i did. Some ppl say a few is nothing to worry about but flicking unless after eating can never be a good thing can it. 👍🐟
Cheers mate, the beautiful thing about this hobby is everybody's pond, fish and opinion are different. Just my opinion I don't want them critters in my pond and not give them chance to spread, also if there flashing it must mean there uncomfortable at the very least so I will always treating if I think it's in there best interests. Hi Andy, I've never yet done a scrape of a fish. The fish you showed seemed really cooperative, did you need to use any type of sedative at all?
Hi Ray, no sedation used mate, the chagoi is a chilled out fella or fella-ess 😁, I wouldn't use sedate for scraps anyway only for treating. Stay safe

Hello Ray, the apex practitioner is a very popular model, I purchased a bresser microscope and I'm happy with it, I'll drop a link below, but either will do the job mate.
Any old credit card will do the trick, dont use the glass slides that come with the microscope

Hi mate, yeah it does seem like them little buggers are more rampant this year, cheers for allowing me to share the now famous moving bed on wheels 😁. Anyone know if Fluke Solve is safe for my cats and dog? They like to drink from the Koi pond as mine is at ground level...just need to be sure before treating!!
Hi mate, the product must be selective, it says not harmful to snails and frogs and obviously our koi are not harmed, but I can't find any info on other animals including our furry friends. Luckily my dog can't easily reach my pond and he's never tried, plus he's monitored when I add treatments. Is there anyway of temporarily putting up a fence or guard to stop them from accessing the pond during treatments?
@@DerbyKoi I think that some kind of temporary fence may be the final solution but my dog is smart so I will have to think it through carefully…

For info I got a very quick and helpful reply from the manufacturer. I checked this out and it is used in dog wormers too…
“The active ingredient of Fluke-Solve is praziquantel, which actually is in some dog wormers. Not only that, but the quantity the dogs would drink would be so tiny that it wouldn’t cause any problems.”

Lernex pro don't even bother with anything less. Not cheap but works %100
Cheers mate, it's the first time I've had to treat for any parasites, I've been lucky, I was reccomend the fluke solve, but have received quite a few recommendations on here including yours for the lernex pro, I appreciate your suggestion and will probably use that in the future if needed 👍
