I went to the ER last week with pain in my chest. I thought it was my heart - and thought my heart was on my left side. I had NO idea this condition existed. So, when I went to the ER they triaged me for pain in my chest. After several tests, this was exactly how my EKG looked and the nurses kept checking the leads ... and then said there was something wrong with the EKG machine. I then went for a chest X-ray -- The X-ray tech kept looking at me funny and asked me to do 3 X-rays. After 5 hours of blood work, tests, and more tests, the ER doctor came in and told me that I had Situs Inversus... shocked the 'Sugar Honey Iced Tea' out of me... and, I was the 1st for the X-ray tech, those nurses and the ER doctor to diagnose.
Actually I got, situs inversus with dextrocardia, my chest pains, nd i coughed with blood... And heartbeat is too fast not normal... It feels like i just came running or dancing... Heart beats too fast..., i did chest X-ray test but found is cough... Nothing much..., but not did ECG test.. Will go for it after some days... But chest pains always while laughing, or sneezing or taking deep breath... Sometimes i get breathing problems too... And i coughed with blood only one night. And after that it didn't came out...
But i still want to know why that happened with me...! Yeah i took alcohol, before and also tobaccos, cigarettes and all... But i left all those now..., i want to know why all those happening or happened?
Should we reverse the position of the leads if we know before hand of the pt has dextrocardia? Meaning, put the pectoral leads on the R side instead of the L?

In general, considered to be quite rare - less than 1% of general population. One study from 2016 showed 0.5% in over 3500 patients. Certainly not something we see on a daily basis.

YES I FINALLY FOUMD PEOPLE WITH DEXTRACARDIA .. I know 1 other person with my condition . I’M REALLY RARE
