    What I find most interesting is that your path to head to toe was very, very different than my path to head to toe. I had to focus a lot more on my lower back and hip alignment. I also did a lot of flossing and just moving things around while in semi/full stretched positions.

      I don't think this particular coach is taking on new clients right now haha. What kind of hip issues? Maybe we have some of the same bad habits!

    I was just talking to a co-trainer about left and right in wushu, the majority of people i've talked to say their left is less tight than their right. I'm wondering if that's becuase most of our kicks are thrown on the right. Forms/jumps/stances often always on the right, so our right hammy is worked a lot more and tends to be tighter when it comes to stretchin time. I'm sure it varies plenty, but in the small sample size I have, wushu folks tend to be righty tighty 🤣

      Interesting!!! I actually haven't talked to many people about this but it sounds like it might be the case. My body is also like this because I grew up doing gymnastics and learned everything on my left leg - aerials, roundoffs, split jumps/leaps, etc. I also disproportionately stretched that side and it's just generally better at doing "complex stuff" (opening, closing, twisting, etc). My rightside can hardly move but is much stronger because... wushu lol.
