I suggest anyone working on their motorcycle themselves invest in a Stahlbus oil drain valve bolt. It's about 36€. You replace the original bolt with it and all you have to do is screw off a cap like from a bottle and twist on an adapter with a hose. Makes oil changes a 5 minute job at max and no more spillage! Except the filter of course. That can't be replaced without spilling 😂 They make these for the break calipers as well, but for 3 calipers in total it costs a bit 😬 pays out in long run though! Soooo much easier, at least for someone like me not as used to working on a motorcycle regularly. Don't buy the cheap knock offs, they are poorly manufactured and start leaking after a while. I have her in the same color as yours ❤ I like your hand guards better. Saw the video where you completely stripped her back in Greece. Respect!
Hi Michael. Thanks for sharing this. I saw this drain bold on a TH-cam video from a guy that was doing the oil change on a AT 750. I will definitely invest in one some day. But my issue is that the SW motech bash plate that I have installed, have no holes to change the oil without removing it. Bad design from their part 😠 . But anyways, I will try to make a hole on it some day and the I will get one of those bolts. Thanks again for watching for vídeos and for sharing! All the best.
Yeah...that dipstick cap is always welded on...I can´t unscrew mine by hand either. Actually I´ve got a question... what tires are u running on the Tranny?
Yeah!! 😄 Tyres are mitas E07 at front and mitas E07+ at the back. Have a look at this video where I do a full review on them. th-cam.com/video/ucL8JvylLFk/w-d-xo.html Alll the best!
Hey Fx thanks for your comment. The manual specifies.the following: API classification SG or higher (except oils labeled as energy conserv- ing on the circular API service label) Viscosity: SAE 10W-30. But I have been always using 10w40 as it's easier to find here. I have not have any issues so far. Regarding your last question. Just make sure that the oil is not labeled as energy conserving on the circular API service label). All the best.
Hey . All good. If is the original then you may find on the Honda dealer or honda website. Also try eBay as you never know what you can find there. Try also to put a question on transalp.org forum there must be someone there that can help you. Sorry that I could not be more helpful. All the best!

Hey how are you? The amount is 2.1 liters if you are just draining or 2.3 if you are also change the oil filter. Good luck and all the best!
@@44degreesmotorcycleadventures hey I am good and thank you for the info I will get it done tomorrow now / your videos are awesome great stuff 👍
@@44degreesmotorcycleadventures it says 3.7 liters in the user manual
Manual says 2.1 liters or 2.3 if changing the oil filter
Mcn says 2.9 litres, so many people saying different with no clear answer
