Lakes is always so brutal, but so rewarding! That was a monster day in the saddle with those climbs, but that last trail 🤩 was amazing, as were the others but that final one!! Little cheeky bump into a rock topple there 🤣 Me and exposure, well, I'm same camp as Marc 👀
Cracking video mate, really was a fantastic day out and not only for the biking, but for the laughs and chat we had too (more sitting around talking rubbish than riding, as it should be😂)
Rode the second descent as part of a massive loop last weekend, its an absolute belter! Took the cheeky left line on the last bit out of curiosity and its a lot easier than the right. Not sure which I prefer. (Ridden the first one many times and love it too)
That first decent down the side of SPike is horrible & those water gullies can easily kick u off if you hit them wrong. S.S is worth doing once but even though I only live up the road I'm happy knowing I'll probably never do it again 😂 Great descents though if your a better rider than me which isnt hard 😂
Great vid and good to see it from 3 different perspectives 👍 Man and bike clearly put to the test 👏💪
thanks mate.

Its not easy riding in the lakes but you always seem to make it look easy.
Nice riding 👌 👏
thanks mate, having the right bike and set up certainly helps when riding in the lakes

same, one of those loops I could never get sick of
I'm wanting to get into mountain biking. Is they anything you'd recommend ?
@@tomhill3158 full suspension. But short travel and as light as possible
Would of been better if John was there with his commentary , a lot of bleeps needed 😂

Lov the vids(selfish ask) at 53 hike a bike days are over.. what about more vids with the same tech ?? No carrying😊
Ahh ignore just realised it was a social ride not a share trail ride👍
Are you able to share which trails / route you are using ?
That first descent isn’t proper bridleway so it’s best not to, just one of those where you have to know or know someone that does
sorry not on this one. I only share the gps file on legal routes
Whens the new bike reveal?? We’re all in suspense…. 🤔
this coming Thursday
Tell us about the new bike 😂
just finished editing the vid for the new bike. be out this Thursday
Doesn't John come out with you anymore? Plus no GPX for this route?
yes still ride with John. just not seen him for a month or so. when ever I don't post gps files. there is a reason for it!!!!
@@TrailFinder Fair play mate. I think I can guess why.
