I’m the guy that bought it. Hope to get it later this week. Guys at the shop are fantastic! Glad I found them and this bike, looking forward to getting it and adding it to the stable. She’s headed to mid MO. It will look good with my forest camo ural. 👍

I recently acquired a 2017 500 Bullet and love burbling along.
So you are the lucky guy!!! I saw this bike on Baxter's website a few days, and it captured my imagination. Awesome looking bike! I returned to the website a couple days later, wondering if I should pull the trigger on an out-of-state purchase. I was too late....! Congratulations and 'thanks' for unknowingly allowing Fuzzy to share the ride with us first. 🙂 I guess I'll go install the new heel-toe shifter that just arrived for my Classic 350 Halcyon Grey. Fuzzy, as always, thanks for the video!

Run Duro tires on my Ural. Great tires. The 500s I test rode vibrated like a washing machine. 😂. The 350 feels like an electric vehicle by comparison.
I’d still snag a late model RE 500 Bullet just for grins. Always wanted the Military Bullet.
My Classic 350 is much smoother than the old Classic 500. Both bikes have their own special charm. Wahoo!
@@peterrussell798 same here. I have an 07 camo ural with Duro tires. Wanted a 2 wheeled friend to go with it, so jumped on this one. I like the new 350’s a lot, and probably a “better” bike for sure. But I’m a mechanic so the vibes and tinkering is fine with me. Have other bikes if I want to just get somewhere. Cheers from another ural owner!
I like those 500's. I'm not sure why RE stopped making them. I'm a little surprised they let you ride a bike that's already sold. My local Triumph/Royal Enfield dealership won't even let you sit on a bike if it's been sold.
Maybe RE will come out with an updated bike soon. Wahoo!
RE stopped making the 500 as they couldn't modify the engine sufficiently to get it through the increasingly stringent emissions test (European at least). They've brought out a 350cc (21.4 c inch) single (in various guises) which *does* get through those emission tests. It has a balance shaft as well which reduces the vibration that the old 500 had.
I bought my Classic 500 new in 2018 & I *love* it. Great for pottering about in the lanes & A-roads here in UK. I did briefly go on the motorway (freeway) but it wasn't pleasant. The bike was very stressy (as was I!) at 70mph (to stay clear of the heavy trucks) & I was glad to get back onto the minor roads to run the bike in its (& my) comfort zone of 50 ~60 mph. The steady "thump" of that 500 single is great & I'm in no big hurry on the bike. It's got "character" & I wouldn't swap it.

No. They make a 350 that's very similar but they stopped making the 500 Classic. You have to find them on the used market.
It's a used motorcycle. They stopped making them year ago. Wahoo!
