I am in love with Danmachi, Have been for the last few years. When i read the light novel, i believe it was 16, or 17 volume. It was powerful. By the end I thought if the series ended right now, that'd be ok.
honestly the only girl in the show that actually LOVES him all the others are just kinda... star struck girls who got saved by a prince. for her she sees him as someone who actually understands her, even by the end she didnt give a single fuck about being "saved" or that hes just a good guy that always saves the girl, but rather that his ideals of life and justice align with her on a deeper level than anyone else in the show. Also P.S. read below There are visual novels from a gacha game called the asterea records abour ryu and her past family its all fully voiced but the actual voice actors too, nice new music also 10/10 honestly better than some seasons of the actual show. it totals 12hr and 30min between all 3 parts... yea, and remember its a visual novel so its almost all dialogue and lore info/building makes her familias death actually the most heart breaking thing ive seen in a show and so much better understanding her and really tying in her relationship with bell and making it make all the more sense. Avoiding the light novels cause well, id rather the show and not be spoiled but with how much time has been spent on her across everything I wouldnt be surprised if many years from now when the books and show end she ends up with him cause A. she is the best girl by a large margin (personal bias) B. she is the most well written. As if she is the one the creator and studio care about the most of all characters (entire VN and even her own special campaign in their number 1 game think ais has her own too but still). and C. with the VN, this season, special campaign, and even looking back at other seasons she has done more voice acting/dialogue than anyone else and had more of a presence in the show with things surrounding around her than most of main characters in Hestia's familia. I mean it may be wishful thinking on my part but I always hoped he would end up with her but started to write her off until this season now im hella siked for the future of the show :D

I like Ryuu, she is kind and is not a bad person by any means, however you cannot deny that if their genders were reversed then people would not be okay with it. So why is it that when a 21 year old female character pursues 14 year old male character people are like, oh look how happy she, and she deserves to be with him, but if a 21 year old male character were in an active relationship with a 19 year old female character that she instigated, people would be calling him a predator?
You can't apply the age reason with elfs in anime. Elfs have a far longer lifespan then humans. Why do you think it's normal in anime for a 200 years old elf to love a teenage boy?

He is literally the only reason she kept living and is now highly emotionally dependent towards Bell. After all this it just doesn't make sense for Bell to not end up with Ryu unless the author kills her off somehow.. But he won't throw her under the bus like that right?... right?
If the author made Bell end up with Ais, how would that be fair for Ryu? Ryu would probably kill herself. Unless the author just neglects the existence of Ryu and this whole character drvelopment arc going forward (Season 4), Bell will end up with Ais
