Been deciding between 11 and XS, finally bought the XS because of the premium feel, i want that ultra wide camera though, but man, the screen and built quality of the XS + 3d touch.... jesus christ i love it
I’ve still got a 6S and SE in my collection and they still are not much slower than my 11 pro in simply opening apps. It’s not until gaming that the A13 chip comes into its own.
Jhus bought a XS Max and I’m impressed. I don’t think I’ll switch anytime soon since I’m not a camera fan. Gotta give a hand to iPhone for producing the greatest hardware

you need to compare them with apps that use multi-core processing. The single core speeds are pretty much the same by spec and most simple apps use single core processing. I would like to see the comparison using graphic or audio applications.
tom lewis it’s really not , your probably just saying that because you’ve never seen one in person. i have the 11 as well and i am a pixel peeper and i really don’t think the display is all that bad. yes i can see the pixels at time but it’s really not that deep.

If you prefer battery life and ultra wide angle lense, 11. If you watch a lot of videos on your phone, the OLED display is way better on XS Max than the 11.

Also, the GPU on the iPhone 11’s SoC has a slight edge in latency(more evident in future games) and capacity to render instructions like model pixel or environment etc. third difference aside from power draw is temperature consistency during peak usage like video editing or gaming. Hope this helps!
I've had my 11 for 3 days now after trading in my X , i was more on the edge about a bigger screen size , and cheaper phone payment , i dont mind a partial downgrade since no more OLED :( for the next 2 years bc im sure the 2021 iphone will fix the errors the 2020 model will have

Here in India xsmax 256 is only like 70 dollars costly than 11 128 gigs... I think it's pretty easy that one should go for XS max... That Oled makes a world of difference... I have Sam note 9 and I can't watch the screen of my brother's 11 for more than 10 mins
Yeah that’s because iPhone shoots pretty saturated and this Sony camera shoots rather flat, il punch up the saturation in color correction in future content thanks for sharing your input!

I doubt there’s much difference in opening apps between the A12 and A13 chips.
But also there’s not much difference in gaming or video editing there is not much difference at all

It’s just a somewhat better build quality and screen resolution, otherwise the 11 is better in every other way.

I have both of them and i can tell you that there is no difference between displays...both are wonderful...and camera is a step up for iPhone 11.
There is a big difference in display. The iPhone XS Max has less bezels, 3D Touch, deep blacks, more contrast, and is larger.
