So the iPhone 11 is still a pretty great buy in 2022. It's the cheapest notched iPhone that Apple sell new, and still works nicely. However, for, usually slightly less money, you can get the iPhone XS, the flagship of the previous year, so this begs the question: which of these two iPhones should you buy in 2022?

I'm considering getting the XS because of the smaller form factor and the OLED screen. And in my experience, even an older flagship feels more premium than a base model. My only real concern is battery life. But I think with a battery case you could resolve that issue. Based on my research, the iPhone XS looks to be the best overall value budget iPhone you could get now. Should still get at least 2-3 more years of support.

I upgraded from the iPhone 6s in the fall of 2021 to the good iPhone XS wow gotta say the build quality is insane fast phone cool camera, nice FaceID love it and superb OLED display just love the display😌. When upgrading to a new iPhone an Oled display is a must so as night mode, nice stainless steel Build💯, Better battery and performance love the size. Can’t wait to upgrade to a newer iPhone soon😊

I think that the xs is more “deluxe”, and has a better screen. However 11 has better processor and night mode for photos

great video! planning on getting my first iphone soon. iphone xs used/refubished will cost 150-200, whereas iphone 11 costs arounds the 250-300 mark, so i'm a bit stuck

As an iphone 11 owner, this phone is still phenomenal in performance. While I dont get the latest camera specs, my photos are still on an exceptional level compared to most latest phones and this is without any editing. In terms of gaming and performance, boy oh boy it still can keep up with the heaviest mobile games like genshin and handles like a boss without any lag. The curve design is now slowly getting set aside again as more iphone flat edge design is getting ripped off by android phones. Although I really love the flat edge, I wont trade my iphone 11 for a long period honestly until it cant keep up with future updates and upgrades.
is it normal for iphones to overheat at small task? my friend has 11, and it feels farm even when browsing instagram

@@JayPatelVlogs yes. Just minimize background apps. But so far I have no issues with heating unless when playing genshin impact which is a heavy graphics game. But for normal tasks, nope I dont have heat issues at all

The iPhone 11 is for people who want bigger screen the xs looks more luxurious and feels more luxurious and has the best display and build quality the processor is one year older but they both have same amount of ram
11 because of the ultrawide, better selfie cam, night mode, superior battery life, extra year of software update

XS because of OLED. More pixels per inch means a sharper display.

I own xs for portrait mode and love's it
Upgraded from android to iPXs and so far it runs smooth but for its battery i need to charge twice a day for a full day use. It's better to spend a little more for 11 but if you just starting for apple ecosystem i think Xs is good for the starters for this 2022.

I recently bought an XS on backmarket and I think it’s more premium feeling also I consume alot of video content so then OLED screen is more appealing to me. The cameras there’s a tiny difference and it’s in the nightmode but for 5$ you can buy the neural cam also there is no comparison when it comes to price I paid 220$ for the XS . I think it’s rly and easy choice if you have a limited budget and wanna get an iPhone.
Yeah absolutely. Got a xs 3months ago and its perfect except battery life. battery life on 77% its kinda low for daily usage. screen

between the 11 and xs, I think the 11 would be the better option, but when you throw in the xs max it's a different discussion. personally chose the xs max which I got more than a month ago

I bought a used iPhone 11 and am not impressed the Siri hang up feature doesn’t work and it has better password enabling systems but I got rid of the passcode on the much older phone anyway as I never lose it and have nothing confidential on it
The old met phone a first Gen SE which I still have can get iOS 15.7 only but iOS 15.7 is not much worse than 16.0.3 actually other than the camera zoom in features and the online payments and maps worked just as well on 15.7. So buy an iPhone 11 used I would but glad I never paid the full price for it
The old one has limited trade value due to not taking iOS 16 although I feel that if it still works I may as well use what I can of it especially as a backup phone

don’t worry bout the night mode, you can have it cheap in the iphone XS with the neural cam at just $6 and it pretty much does the job and rest the XS got a better screen with better colours, better in hands, better look and the telephoto lens gets you shots like DSLRs

There both pretty sick but id pick the cos it’s just I like the design it’s just simple and nice. While the 11 meh looks a bit dirpy :p. Sad thing tho none of them have MagSafe.
I just got the 11 Pro 512gb for MYR2100 ($460) with 12 months warranty by trusted company that sell used phone. My 2nd iPhone after 5s, still love Samsung but I need iPhone for content.

11 has quicker processor out of the box but the batteries degrade fast and start to perform worse.
Upgraded from 7 to XS in February, and absolutely love it. I definitely prefer OLED and stainless steel and, like you, can charge during the day if necessary.
One ‘trick’ that’s been a game changer for me, and has meant that I haven’t pulled all my hair out, is the use of the back tap (found under Accessibility). I take a lot of screenshots, and was forever either turning off my screen or summoning Siri. Not any more!
same, came from a 7 and upgraded into a Xs as well! everything is like magic to me haha

If battery is not that important for you than yes. else no since they don't give good battery life even in 90+% . If you really need or want one go for xdmax.

Xs is much better it is a much better flagship.
I can’t work with the 11 and XR’s lame screen. Its not even because its LCD vs OLED. The resolution is unjustifiable. I just had an 8 Plus for a few days and that being 1080p it was brilliant.
I actually just grabbed a XS and it’s just better in every area but battery and camera. I feel like the general public won’t focus on those two things. Normally people have chargers wherever they mostly work, so battery isn’t that big of a deal. Cameras, sure. They do work better but if you want a phone for its cameras, you need a Pro phone anyways.
Don’t decide which iPhone to buy based only on the processor, both phones will be killed the same year, they have the same ram, it’s just like the iPhones 6S and iPhone 7, they were both killed the same year despite the iPhone 7 having a considerably better processor
Main reason for killing iPhone 7 is that it didn’t have fully Apple processor, starting from iPhone 8, they are fully made by Apple that’s why every processor is called Bionic now.
@@bananabanana6351 the historic pattern that Apple has followed to kill iPhones is based on ram, just check that and you’ll see, Apple will kill the iPhone XS series the same year as the iPhone 11 series. Nevertheless, they do differently with iPads since the iPad 5 is still supported on iPadOS 16
@@jmml1 If they killed based on ram then why didn’t the 8/8+ die? They both have 2/3GB of RAM like the 6s/7/6s+/7+. The X & XR have 3GB of RAM too so they should’ve died also
By that logic once they kill the 1st 4GB ram iPhones (the XS/XS max) they should kill the 11 series, 12/12 mini & 13/13 mini the same time
@@dislikebutton4239 they killed phones with 2gb ram lpddr4, the iPhone 8/8+/X are different, when Apple kills the iPhone 11 series at the same time as the iPhone XS series you’ll remember this comment, the reason why they killed the 7+ is because that wouldn’t be able to justify killing the standard iPhone 7, we have to see how they’ll behave with the 12 and 13 standard models since they started this differentiation on ram recently with the XR, probably will kill them before the pro versions, who knows, we’ll have to wait and see what they do

Also something else to factor in, I’d be scared to scratch the stainless steel bands on the XS because it’s so easy to scratch and quite noticeable but on the 11 it wouldn’t be as bad
