My wife daughter and I stayed in å for a night and caught the boat to Værøy where my great grandparents immigrated from to the US, if you get to go back in the summer hike to Mostad and have someone take you to the beach in the bay it is one of the most peaceful and beautiful places on earth, ps don’t miss hiking up to the Puffin fields if your heat can take heights. Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials, my wife and I will have 39 years this August ❤️❤️

I was stationed in Germany with the American Air Force. It never failed in the wintertime when you had all of your clothes on. Then you would have to go to the restroom. I remember waiting for the plane to leave and it would start hailing. Good thing we had a face mask on to block the hail.

I’m sure I wouldn’t want to live in that part of the world for many reasons and the sort of lifestyle I have. Here in Britain it’s a “national pastime” to moan and whinge about the weather so I can imagine what I’d be like if I live there.
