Great looking job and just like everyone else I think grit blasting that tank cap was genius. Yours has to easily be the best bike channel on TH-cam. Looking forward to the next episode 👍😁
Wow, thanks for those really kind words mate, I'm not worthy, glad you're enjoying the content and really appreciate your support!
Great job. Made the gas cap look like a cerakote with the sblast
Thanks buddy, the great thing with it being raw metal is it doesn't scratch like a painted finish, and doesn't corrode like polished brass either, just a wipe with WD40 and it looks good as new!
Looking great, Del! Love what you did with the gas cap… And as we say here in the USA, you must be mighty “chuffed” with that result! 😎
🏍👍🏍
Might chuffed indeed brother... not much to do left, upholstery, hydraulics, coolant, battery, lights, actually, there is quite a bit to do lol... but hey, not long and we'll be there!
@@Moonfleet41 sweet! 😎
You have out done yourself this time. Beautiful. Outstanding Sir.
Thank you so much Mark 😀, waiting for the upholstery, then just a few jobs left to do!
It seems I fell in love with this bike.... Well, you are always on top.
I’ve been watching you now for the last couple of years quality of your work is outstanding. Loving the new workshop
Thank you very much Trevor, without viewers supporting us like you, we couldn't do what we do, it keeps us motivated!
Ha.. brass fuel cap. Totally read my mind. Thought you were gonna turn a brass cover though. You've done some really nice, no nonsense work on this one Del. You should be very proud of this one.
Thanks mate, much appreciated.
Top job, soon to be finished, looking forward.
You and me both Peter, we can't wait!
Wasn't sure if I was gonna like the colour combination until you put it on the bike and I must say that's stunning
Thanks mate, glad you like it!
Looks absolutely stunning Delboy, top quality.👍🏻
Thank you mate 👍
Excellent, looking forward to seeing the finish bike out on the road. Cheers Del ⚙️🔩🔧👍
Thanks Martin 👍
Top banana, really enjoyed the build.
I'm a bit sad it's coming to an end, but I'm also looking forward to the grand finale.
Great job. 👍🍻
Thanks mate, there's a little way to go yet, but yes it's not long! So better start thinking of something for the next one!
Ahh... Black & White! Great colour scheme Del. Also a great Strangler's album!
Too right mate!
Nice one Dell I was sceptical at first with the white but wow it looks great top job
Thanks mate 👍, appreciate your feedback!
Looks absolutely beautiful. Great job
wow this is fast becoming a show piece please don't ask me which is my favourite part that would be to difficult but if i was forced to make a choice prob the exhaust wow what a compliment .no hold on the paint ! now i'm stuck lol.sincerely tho team del you just simply do an amazing job !! thank you
Thank you Tom for your kind words, have to admit that I agree with you, my favourite part of the bike is the header pipe set, it was my first attempt at hand building headers and am really happy with how they look... not much to do now and I'll get a chance to get the bike out on the road and see how it rides! We both appreciate your kind support, D&Px
So satisfying! It's looking beautiful, Del 😊
Thanks so much 😊
Looks good I can see that parked up on Douglas front during TT getting all the glances if it were on.
Wouldn't that be cool mate, what a weird 18 months it's been aye?!
Absolutely gorgeous!!!! Can't wait for the ride.
Thank you Jason, we appreciate your kind words of support, glad you like it!
Hi Del a true professional job mate so far. Paint work looks outstanding hope the seat is up to the same standard. I have really enjoyed this journey with you and Penny
Thanks Dean 👍, we've handed the upholstery to a very talented chap, who is making side pads for the tank as well, so hoping it will all hang together just fine! Good to hear you've enjoyed, we've loved every second.
@@Moonfleet41 Hi Del cant wait to see this seat. What about your next project have you ever thought about building a bobber . you have the expertise and equipment and it would be interesting to watch
@@deangentles4966 Thank you buddy, making some early plans and enquiries what we can do next, it will all depend on funding, and if we can find the right buyer for the Legend!
Damn that looks good! That bead blasted brass fuel cap on the white with the bronze flake on the black parts, I see what you're doing there. I hope that's captured in video when it's out in the sun. Looking forward to the seat to complete the look.
Thanks Phil, just trying use some colour accents to bring the monochrome colours together, something classical and striking at the same time!
Been really busy lately Del, only just starting to have a good catch up on the Triumph rebuild.....WOW !!!!....looks absolutely amazing, love the colour match....perfect 👌
Next video's about to roll, can't wait ⏳
Thanks 👍
Del, that looks gorgeous. Extremely well done buddy. Alan
Many thanks Alan, glad you're enjoying the journey!
Tcut is such an overlooked product.
Looks superb. Well done on a fantastic job.
Thank you so much 😀
Hello from Oz, fabulous looking bike Del with so much attention to all details.
Congratulations Dell, can't wait for the test ride.
Thanks you George 👍, appreciate your kind words, and yes, a few jobs left to do, then we'll roll it out in to that sunshine... although it won't be as hot and sunny as you are there ;-)
@@Moonfleet41 I'm in South Australia Del & it's just into Autumn weather, cool & around the 20' to low 20's but will get colder soon.
Take care & stay safe mate👍
Bloody mint Del, I absolutely love it and you must be so proud.
Sure am Andy, must admit I did allow myself a little smile when I stood back, thank you for your kind support over the months!
At first I thought hmmmm....with the bits installed it's classy.....your best yet :)
Thank you Paul, still more to install with the tank pads and seat!
Well impressed, then little pot of air fix paint takes me back to me almost missed spent youth, again amazing colour scheme
ha ha, me too mate, those badges were touched up with fond old skills.. memories of painting Starsky and Hutch stripes on my Matchbox cars..!
Outstanding job and great camera work, you can tell that you have thought about angles and what you do and don't show, can't waite to see the seat as it will finish it off
Thank you Andy for noticing, we do indeed work hard to think about the viewer experience, so it's great to know it's noticed and appreciated, thank you!
Like the white color. Sort of an understated "sporty" feel without being too loud. Conrgrats on the progress as another project nears completion.
Thank you so much for those kind words, I think classic black and white evokes many memories of different bikes, and we wanted to add a twist to it with the pearl and the metal flake, hopefully once the upholstery is back, it will all come together!
Wow wow wow can't wait until its finished its on its way to looking the best yet
Keep it up del pure genius
Wow, thanks Martyn, good to know you're enjoying the build!
Hi del
I’ve got to say that I was a bit skeptical with your paint colour when you mentioned it - but by the chuff - you have absolutely nailed it , bloody well done - it looks bloody mint 😜🤙🏻
Thanks mate 👍, hoping it will look even better with the seat and tank pads on!
Outstanding Del. Looking forward to the final reveal
Looks fantastic Del, love the pearl colours 👍
Thank you! It certainly lifts it and it will look even better once we get the bike out in to the sunshine!
Bloody brilliant job Del. I love the colour and the fuel cap is the icing on the cake. Looking forward to seeing the seat and tank pads go on. Penny and you have a good week and glad your getting some sunshine. Cheers
Thank you mate, still waiting for the upholstery, so tomorrow's video will be taking care of some other work still outstanding, all good to get it knocked off the list, and the upholstery should be well worth waiting for! Have a safe week there and ride safe too!
Really looking stunning. Seeing the new painted ‘bits’ on the bike makes me think my Triumph black edition needs a different paint job :)
Hey buddy, if you had a Triumph T100 or T120 Black, then I imagine that white tank and mudguards would look stunning, perhaps with a little silver pearl and very unique!
that is a great color combo MR.DEL looks awesome...
Thank you Sir 👍
It is looking beyond new..Classy..Thanks.
Thank you so much 😊
You got me, I'm going for a ride right now! Cheers!
Hope you enjoy it, ride safe!
Looking awesome Del 👍👍😎
Thanks Pete 👍, quite proud of it actually, came out pretty well!
will look lovely that, thank heaven its not another ratter...Im not sure i'd be putting pads on the tank
Amazing work. Your attention to detail is extraordinary.
Thank you so much Kev 😀
What a transformation - it looks simply stunning! It has been fantastic watching the ugly duckling grow into a swan with all your meticulous work..
Looking forward to seeing the seat and tank pads soon.... Cheers!
Thank you mucka, not long to wait for the seat, should be back shortly, there's a few other jobs left in between, and we should be good to go!
Nice classy understated look. One thing which you may or may not have considered - rear hugger. I think you absolutely need one to complete the look. This will stop the grunge from riuining the underside plus bridge the considerable gap between the rear wheel and the mudguard. Just an opinion.
Del that looks bloody amazing mate
The colour just pops and I love the way you took the glossy reflective shine of the new filler cap. Very very smart and clean.
I reckon Triumph will be giving you a call seeking your advice on future retro mods to other models.
Looking forward to the finished bike and shake down ride.
Nick Australia
Thank you so much Nick 😀, thanks for your kind words mate, I think all of the factories out there for every brand you can think of have always crated their accessory range by cribbing the custom bike world... even to the point of buying out companies like Vance & Hines so they own them and can call them theirs!... but I always see that as an honour rather than a cheek, I've had professional custom bike builders crib the things I've done and sell them as product and that is a great compliment... really appreciate your kind support mate, have a great week.
Shouldn’t swear but that looks fucking awesome.. looks so good without the tank pads.. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you mate, going to add some tank pads to break up the white but they'll be pretty unique and not just the rubber lumps!
@@Moonfleet41 sounds pucka 👍🏻
Cracking job mate👍👍
Thanks Jim 👍
