This community was so beautiful when i was a child. I used to walk thru there going to Villa Rd School from Georges Valley. I am so surprised how that house right at the intersection there has really gone down, it was a sight to behold back in the 90s.
Hi l am recent subscriber my name is Mark from London uk my late parents are Jamaican my father came from mandeville in fact l have inherited land a property in mandeville in an area called George Valley l dealing with that family inheritance plan to visit this year and also looking at investing in Jamaican real estate and continue to build on the generational wealth left by my late parents. So big up your channel will be looking to further develop my knowledge.
Bless up Fire 🔥 Reid, that area you can also travel on Caledonia Road, horse shoe corner, my father use to work at the Mount Nelson Dairy in the early days.
one love fire reid,, Was just in Battersea for a week, Would hv loved to see pictures of the homes also, Mandeville is beautiful & the temperature is perfect,
I am here in America and I’m not the first time on your page. I am Meneva Jeno, Mandeville, Manchester, I know a different place like daviton much more places I love Mandeville because it’s cool and nice and anything you plant in the granite growI would love to retire back in Manorville
I am watching from connecticut.glad you are highlighting my beautiful parish manchester.looking at the video I wish I was done their to enjoy some of the nice cool breeze also
Thank you that was much needed. The quality of the image is so good I felt like I was there and could reach out that touch the grass/trees. When are we going to see you in the farm? When is pumpkin season and have harvested the corn yet?
Cool and Beautiful! I haven’t been but, have a friend born and raised in Mandeville. I’m from MN. This is on my “vacation list” for sure in very, near future. Thank you, for video. 🌴🌺☀️🌡
Thanks for “taking me home” I escape to my Beautiful home town of Mandeville, a couple times a year. I have traveled all over the Island, nowhere is as pristine, cool and beautiful as Mandeville. If, I don’t retire there, then there’s ONLY ONE OTHER PLACE and that’s FLORENCE, ITALY, for sure. Big up on the awesome job 👍🏾👌🏾🇯🇲🇯🇲Nice!! One little correction.. It’s pronounced “Woodlands” not “Hoodlands” for THE NON-JAMAICANS, of course
Upper mount Nelson Mandeville is 🎉very very nice 👍🏻 the only thing when they fix the roads I wish they would make some walk ways for pedestrians that would be nice.
Back in the day, those streets use to be clean when the older generation use to run the place. Place looks rundown. But i still love my town. I will be back there to make my contribution in a few years. Nice vedio keep up the good work.
Meanwhile some a wi deh a foreign a live ina people dutty cold basement or a live ina some overpriced apartment buildings weh we can hardly pay for...🥺
You are so right about that. The cheapest 1 bedroom apartment in New York City is renting for U.S$1,500. The condition of these apartments are deplorable; it is very small, infested with large rats, and roaches. New York City is overrated.
It is a process it all depends where it ends your purpose of that sacrifice. Have been traveling for 32 years cheap labor for the better half of those years but giving thanks I can still see the pay off for that sacrifice back home
Sad but true, all that money paying for those overpriced apartments over the years, could easily buy a piece of these land in Manchester and build your own even a one Bed house at least it will be your own outright.
Start exploring some parishes on the coasts. Get to know new places. I'm not settling where I'm Jamaica I'm from I'm going where I love and where is convenient to my must haves.
If ONLY the people would demand better from the government with regards to local roads. Minimum standards should look like the 9:40mins mark where both sides of the roads have concrete barriers and drainage. Lovely community and progressive people living their best lives ❤
Nice area of Manchester. I have been a subscriber on two phones. I would love to visit Manchester, I'm from America but I have to st Catherine, St Ann, and a couple other places.
Been Hearing about this area for a while but it's the first time I've seen it close up. Most of the houses are wonderful. The only thing is - Why the heck they can't fix the roads? I guess a politician has to move into the area.
Some of those neighborhoods are private subdivisions. It was the original developer who sell lot responsibility to put the road in. Back then stuff was not be enforced properly.
I wouldn’t be a returning resident as I’m an American. I’ve been thinking of moving to JA and Mandeville is one place I’ve considered. What I’ve seen and it’s not only Mandeville is the good amount of very large homes. In my opinion they are way too big. I’d rather have a much smaller home and more land. Heck I’d rather be able to build two or three small homes and either rent out or do a partial work rent exchange for growing food. Any mango trees there! I always thought mango couldn’t grow in cooler climates but someone mentioned they can , just depends on the type of mango.
Dem must upgrade the health care system, dem allowed my father to die in mandeville reginol hospital, the people not intresting in only house. I was born and raise in Mandevill. So until dem ups the health care system and the banking system, we cant stop murder unless God step in. Love my Island, but? I leave it there. Have home, and grandparents leaving lands. But God. Walk good stay safe mi breda.
This community was so beautiful when i was a child. I used to walk thru there going to Villa Rd School from Georges Valley. I am so surprised how that house right at the intersection there has really gone down, it was a sight to behold back in the 90s.

very nice place
There are many things that make a place beautifully, and not just its physical features but the people too. Can you relax in your garden
Certainly. I am thinking what would or could prevent me from relaxing in my garden and I would say NOTHING
The roads are very bad, they need resurfacing
I am watching from connecticut.glad you are highlighting my beautiful parish manchester.looking at the video I wish I was done their to enjoy some of the nice cool breeze also
your welcome
Thank you that was much needed. The quality of the image is so good I felt like I was there and could reach out that touch the grass/trees. When are we going to see you in the farm? When is pumpkin season and have harvested the corn yet?

Thanks for “taking me home” I escape to my Beautiful home town of Mandeville, a couple times a year. I have traveled all over the Island, nowhere is as pristine, cool and beautiful as Mandeville. If, I don’t retire there, then there’s ONLY ONE OTHER PLACE and that’s FLORENCE, ITALY, for sure.

I am Jamaican, but your narrative makes the video almost tedious
Wow love the scenery 😊
thanks for watching
Upper mount Nelson Mandeville is 🎉very very nice 👍🏻 the only thing when they fix the roads I wish they would make some walk ways for pedestrians that would be nice.
Nice slow scenic drive
Really nice. Can’t wait to visit.
hope soon
Watching from Lincolnshire 🇬🇧 UK
big up all the time
Back in the day, those streets use to be clean when the older generation use to run the place. Place looks rundown. But i still love my town. I will be back there to make my contribution in a few years. Nice vedio keep up the good work.
real talk
Mount Nelson was once a beautiful community back in the 80ts seems a bit run down looking at it now wow
The roads are poorly kept
I reside in mandeville ,love my area bad.
What about new day and George’s valley
Graçias Fire Ried from everybody in Toronto: Thanks

@@FireReid no problem man. Love the videos, keep doing your thing.
Never been there before 😳🙄it's always been A Pleasure ✔️.fire Ried
Looks like a lovely neighbourhood! Also enjoy the slow real of the video. 👏🏽
very nice
Nice community and houses. The roads need addressing.
Meanwhile some a wi deh a foreign a live ina people dutty cold basement or a live ina some overpriced apartment buildings weh we can hardly pay for...🥺

Sacrifice makes plans worthwhile...I paid rent, saved, and eventually bought 2 houses. It's all about perspective.
Every time I see those unfinished mega-mansions I draw a certain conclusion.
I've never heard of this place and I'm from Mandeville 😮
Here tuned in bro
Always and will always be beautiful, maybe you can go further down into whitby and further a field.
Nice area to live
Beautiful area
Suburban Mandeville indeed. Nicely done. Talk about Jamaica's money folks!
Nice narration and nice video.
thanks alot
Beautiful, but it’s a pity it’s not near water. That’s my parish but if I retire or return to Jamaica it has to be near water…..not two hrs away.
love the water
You can look for something in another parish closer to the water.
Start exploring some parishes on the coasts. Get to know new places. I'm not settling where I'm Jamaica I'm from I'm going where I love and where is convenient to my must haves.
Coming there to look for my Family related to my Uncle Felix Waite ..
Thanks for the sub!
You should show an area where the roads are in good shape and not in need of extensive repairs.
Damn!do they forget to do the roads?
I wouldn’t be a returning resident as I’m an American. I’ve been thinking of moving to JA and Mandeville is one place I’ve considered. There are communities surrounding mandeville where you can get this, I live in one.
My future husband is living in Manchester. Campbell darling family.
I would love to live there
very nice
Beautiful. I wonder if there are any properties for sale.
Next video try to do Waltham in Mandeville Great videos
Thanks for the idea!
Very nice house 🏠 and place 👌
Manchester! I love it - one knows when one's x'd the border n in Manchester because U feel the cool 😎 🇯🇲✅️✝️
the place to be
Dem must upgrade the health care system, dem allowed my father to die in mandeville reginol hospital, the people not intresting in only house. I was born and raise in Mandevill. So until dem ups the health care system and the banking system, we cant stop murder unless God step in. Love my Island, but? I leave it there. Have home, and grandparents leaving lands. But God. Walk good stay safe mi breda.
Such beautiful houses but the roads needs fixing they need to have a community group to get together and address it
I used to love spending summer holidays with my grandfather, aunts and uncles at Georges Valley beautiful place.

Lovely, thank you but it’s not enough☹️.

Vacation spots?
A regular 9 to 5 job in the you will have to work a life time to even buy the property working minimum wage
can't make so easy
idid not see any fire station hospital or health center police station schools
in the town area
How they don’t trim the trees and shrubs

If you want us to see the beauty of Jamaica, we need to see the property not the road, sometimes can you stop the car and show us the area.
remember this is jamaica plus I respect they privacy not every place you can show a side view
thanks for watching
Beautiful neighborhood love it but one the road is bad
If they would only fix the roads though. Nice houses nice cars good food. Terrible roads 🤔
The roads look better then a whole lot of our roads here in Hawaii
Can. They. Cĺean. Up. Mandeville. Cut. All the grass fix the roads
They need to fix the roads.
