Tip for deck profile, there is a Rank 4 monster called Magician of Hope that is very easy to summon and meets all the requirements for the new trap card, including being a Pendulum Xyz monster, who’s a spellcaster with 2500 ATK. Making him off Harmonizing and using him as the tribute allows you to use Gate magician for Absolute dragon and not having to worry about not having a spell in your grave for selene. I’d also recommend swapping in some more engine pieces like Star pendulumgraph and Wisdome eye. You do NOT play Pendulum Call, prevents Gate magacian

i dont know if the dlink opponent plays regained but if they did they could have made sp with lubellion and nib and then banish a light or a dark with it. Then put it back with regained to draw a card and hopefully draw into an extender.

Anyway Tiamaton might be worth running in Rescue-Ace to deal with pendulum and backrow decks, Tiamaton is especially devastating vs Pend as they have to out it or they can't play and R-ace can trigger it summoning conditions really easily since its very easy to set up 3 in a column in this deck.

All the intro reminded me was that I still have no clue what the interaction between anti-spell and pend scales is
Pendulum Monsters aren't able to be set in the Spell/Trap zones, so you become unable to place the scales entirely.
