    Excellent- I paid my local tyre guy to change the pads on my s1000r, but really no different to changing the pads on my MTB.

    Also don't forget to bleed the master. Also, I read somewhere that zip-tie'ing the lever isn't good for ABS systems as it strains the seals on the ABS unit

    • @CaliMotoTV
      @CaliMotoTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We bled the master 👍 that's interesting, never heard that before and we've been doing it for a while without issues.

    Nice clear explanation video as always!
    One thing! You put spacers in front of the caliper on the reinstall of the first caliper! Hope you noticed and swapped them back! Keep the vids coming 👍🏻

    • @CaliMotoTV
      @CaliMotoTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Correct the spacers are installed between the fork and caliper.

      @@CaliMotoTV are you using 330 rotor?
      On 320 (stock) they go after bolt head

      @CaliMotoTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Dv1demon yes good catch we did move them for the 330 Rotors.

    Do you have plans for a follow up video on how this brake set up is?
    Like any issues you may or may not be having?

    • @CaliMotoTV
      @CaliMotoTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We just swapped the pads, so can't really call this a "brake set up". As we're planning on racing the bike this season, we will be completely upgrading the system soon. For average day to day street use the OEM brakes are completely sufficient.

    • @AF-th8kv
      @AF-th8kv 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CaliMotoTV what about you Rotors did those get changed to something different as well?
      It would still be a good idea to do some sort of follow up since you do plan on racing the bike for the up coming season.
