Spectacular 🎉
Hey Big Guy!!!!!
@@terrainaholic 👋
I noticed yours is coming along nicely as well.
There was a video painting a dwarf, a video showing unit bases, and now it all comes together. Nice job!
Awesome looking army there, well done!
Beautiful.
Mate, I did a very similar thing. Collected Highlands for a while now. Printed the whole roster and scale according to "the old world" and painted it in 2 weeks. Goal was to unlock the game and faction. About 200 minis in total, all printed at home with good resin. All the bases and trays printed on my fdm machine. Looking forward to make a video about that project.
Great work Sir! I love the show. I gotta get to work on some of my hobby madness.
Look amazing!
Love this army, you've done a brilliant job. I'm getting there with my 15mm 3d printed dwarf army, every time I near the end of painting them I find some more to print though!
That's one of the joys of 15mm though, so cheap it doesn't hurt to keep buying! I'm doing a sci fi skirmish game in 15mm, thought I'd probably do about 10 different gangs to cover all the options, currently on 15 with 2 more to paint and already filling my shopping cart for the next order 😁
Beautiful work sir, a stunning army. I like the beserkers better au natural, looks better than all bright orange hair imo.
Rank and flank armies are such a huge commitment and once you've finished one it's an amazing achievement. Congratulations on completing your goals. Can't wait to see some rank and flank on the channel!
Congrats
Highlands miniatures dwarves are sooo good. MOM miniatures too (aside from the normal dwarves they also have forest dwarves, that wear gnome caps)
They look great! Def must have been an undertaking
It was a lot of work but I enjoyed it.
Looks great. They all have a nice classic timeless fantasy look.
damn they look good!
Looking very good. Once I've finished my Wood Elves, I'll start my dwarves, and hopefully, the ranks will be sally forth in as fine a fashion as yours. Great work!
Great job! I bought the board game, Hate, last summer for $150 dollars. It has about 120 minis in it. My plan is to finish painting painting them and I will have more than enough figures for a Havoc Warriors army. The cool thing is, there's like 8 or 9 barbarian tribes each with 9 colors on their bases, so it should be fairly easy to mix and match unit groups (ex. all greens will make a barbarian group or orange is a group of warriors).
I have a complete collection of highland figures. They are wonderful!
Very handsome looking stunties. Super cool.
Great work. Massive army - truly. I love it.
I also started printing a dwarf army about two weeks ago, bought the stls exactly from the same place highlands miniatures
Love how you painted them, great job, I'm painting mine with a green main colour instead of blue.
Again amazing job, saving the video to check it again of I get stuck on something I don't know how to paint.
I found them to have just the right amount of detail, but still paint quickly and easily.
I believe the correct term is Blunder- Where's the lower half of my body!!!!!
Love it! Best dwarves on the market for sure!
Great looking Army..mist about to finish my own dwarf army..opr dwarf guilds though
Great job on the army! Looks so good. My only gripe about 3d printing and the reason why I sold my full printer setup is just the brittleness of the prints, even when dealing with the additives, etc.
By mistake, I had a tray of those longbeards from highlands fully painted fall off the shelf and just shattered like glass, which unfortunately left a sour taste with 3d printing.
Hopefully, if the technology changes, I can revisit it.
Again, the army looks superb! ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉
I agree, there are still elements of printing that are keeping it from fully taking over the miniature market. There are some resins that claim to address things like that, but I haven't tried any.
The “gold” hero just needs a little contrast . Maybe some silver or white but something to break it up
Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try it out.
Please do a battle report against orks and goblins beatiful army
Duly noted, though my orc army is a bit small for rank and flank.
Did the quick and dirty math for the stuff you could potentially buy GW direct and with a lot of assumptions about how Old World will be priced - it could easily be twice what you paid for at 900 USD. And you would still be missing the bear cavalry and the rune golems and the High King on Boat because you can't buy Thorgrim Grudgebearer except second hand now.
Awesome! Hey, I really want to thank you for your great videos and getting me hooked on OPR. I downloaded the free rules of all genres except the fleet one(not a fan of pew pew spaceships). I also, paid for the $5 missions books. I love the army list option! Now... my question. Do you think its possible to use the AoF rules for historical mini games? Take care and Get After It!
Yes it is possible. I went out to OPR Army Forge, went to Community books and did a search for Greek, which resulted in 4 different army lists. Creator Gionnipeppe has done a few different historical armies.
@@ericdavis4964 Nice! Thank you.
Looks like someone else beat me to it but yes, absolutely.
Dwarves are great! Steampunk dwarve even better lol
Lovely army! Where did you get the movement trays?
Those are from Miniwargaming. I actually have a video where I review the trays.
The thing with this 3D printing lark is how long each print takes , it's not a fast process doing an army
True, unless you have a big build plate. I can print 20 space marine equivalent, but that will tie down the printer for about 6 hours.
please do a tutorial on the golems.
Hmm. I'll need to get a new model to try it on because I've done all the statues I plan to have, but I'll put in on my list of videos to make.
Tried out Hobgoblin with them? Its a system worth trying out!
Is that from the guy who did Gaslands? That sounds familiar.
Looks amazing! Are these 32 mm or 28 mm scale?
I believe they are 28 heroic.
What size magnets did you use for the bomber/attack ships I just glued mine but that would be better
The were 2mm by 1mm. A hundred for about 8 bucks from Amazon
Kinda wish i had a 3d printer
it's a double-edged sword, believe me.
Estimated cost? Around $2,000 on the high side. Low side, with 15% off on army boxes from online sellers when the relaunch happens should be around $1250, but it won't include bear riders and a few other unit options.
Most of those minis won't look as good, either.
Thanks for that. I was actually curious. And if I was better at printing I could have done it for about $150 in resin.
I'm pretty sure the plural of blunderbuss is blunderbussy.
Duly noted.
Looks good! But whatever is making that ding noise every few seconds is extremely annoying. I can't not focus on it.❤
Interesting. I didn't notice. I'm in my garage and there are so many background sounds I tune them out. I'll keep that in mind on future videos.
I'm fairly sure that's just part of the music, an uplifting little triangle ding. If not it's a little creepy that something in the garage is chirping in time with the music 😁
Dwarves batrep when?
I would love to see Dwarves vs Saurians
I've used them in one Regiments batrep already, and another is set to come out in a month or so.
I just need to find someone with Saurians...otherwise I'm up for it.
GET A PRINTER!!!!! I printed up OPR stitch zombies for 7 CENTS a piece!!!!!!!!!!! AND when a print fails it stops using resin at that point so you KEEP the unused resin!!!!! Also failed prints frequently have some useable bits for conversions!!!
I have one, and I'm still 50/50 on whether I love it or would pay to let someone else handle that side of things.
Eh, they are on the wrong bases.
Oh don't be such a square.
