Disney Channel Jingle Origin and Evolution

The collection of bumpers from 1997-2003 may be incomplete, but I decided to make a selection of some earliest versions of the channel's current jingle. There are many versions of the 2002 jingle, but I only added a few and since I didn't know the names of the 2014 and 2017 graphic packages, I simply called them generic themes.

The late Alex Lasarenko produced the iconic Disney Channel 4-note theme when he was working for Tonal/Elias. He was also served as the creative director of Disney Channels at the time.
The iconic theme was derived from the 1997 song “The Impression That I Get” by The Mighty Mighty Boss-tones.

I believe that the jingle was derived from the main theme of “Beauty and the Beast” just like the main movie logos derive its jingle from Pinocchio’s “Wish upon a Star”.
