Great video! If you were just going to replace that primer pump where it was leaking….is it as simple as taking those two screws off and throwing a new primer pump assembly on there? Or do you have to pull out the carb to do that? Thanks!
Thanks Al! Yes the primer can just be replaced without even removing the carb. In this particular situation the customer had someone else do some work inside the carburetor that he didn’t trust, and came to us wanting to just replace the entire thing.
what is the black hose that hangs from the bottom? doesn't connect to anything? bleeder hose? Mine just went missing and gas leaking out the nipple on the bottom. Can't seem figure out what used to be there.
Ya that should be the drain for the fuel bowl. The hose doesn’t really matter as it’s just to direct the fuel down to the ground when you open the drain screw. I would make sure the drain screw is tight.
@@leftyssnowmobileatvsalvage2344 mmm guess i need figure out which one the drain screw is.... it was pouring out the nipple at the bottom but since seems to be coming out from everywhere. not sure if fuel filter is backed up or what happened... i look for the drain screw tomorrow! ty
Thanks for the info, foreman run like brand new!
That's the ideal customer right there. Lets you keep the $500 Honda carb that needs a $25 rebuild kit and puts on the $40 Amazon carb!
Leave the inlet on the air box when pulling off the air box use it as leverage to get box of carb rubber 😮

Hi , I have the same problem with may 450S it that an Original new carb or after market one as I’m look for one In UK
Where is the pilot screw located at on Honda foreman 400
Does this replacement carb still working good after almost two years?
It hasn’t returned for warranty work so I’m assuming it’s still running good 🤷♂️

How did the cheap carb do..we didn’t get to hear much running during and after adjustments
It ran great!!
Yeah and as soon as you shut it off. Carb was leaking again..right? Been there.
Put the coke plunger on sideways
So basically you have to buy a whole new carb to fix the leak
You can purchase just the plunger kit and reseal just that, but in this case the customer opted for a brand new carb.
