There are a number of these on the market that claim to work with 'any' car with wired carplay. I can attest that this is not always the case. I got an MMB Max which appeared to be one of the 'higher spec' boxes which out of the box was incompatible with the OEM headunit in my 2020 BRZ. Happily the customer service ended up being very helpful and within 2 months, they had a software update which was done through microSD card and that worked out, however, to those reading this thinking 'Works in Any Car* means ANY car, that is not necessarily the case. I just got mine for my GR86.. It has all the same problems as wired connection. It still cuts out when going over bumps, it’s slower to connect than wired. The sound quality isn’t noticeably worse but it is delayed like a normal blue tooth connection. It’s cool that you can watch TH-cam and Netflix but just know that if you hit a bump and it disconnects from CarPlay, you practically can’t resume the video unless you’re able to reconnect to your hotspot which it doesn’t like doing for some reason.. IMO it’s not worth it because it doesn’t fix any of the problems of wired connection, it just makes it even more infuriating to wait 30 seconds - a whole minute waiting for it to reconnect.
Running a wireless carplay and wireless charging and it's working out well. got the Jemluse 2-in-1, and its two processor design seems to do a really good job at minimizing lag, and I've had no connection drops or weirdness.

Bro, I want to get rid of the cup holders in the center console!!😢 There are cup holders on the doors already, I don’t need them in the center under my elbow. I wish it was just a deeeeep box instead of space-wasting cup holders. I need to put my phone somewhere so bad. If you know any mods on the market, plz plz plz tell me!😢😢😢
So u still need to have something with a cable inside your cup holder? Solves nothing since that is where I keep my phone anyways. One of the things that are real dumb about this car is not having wireless car play

Have you ever consider the reason why you wired carplay is playing up is because you use a chewed up cable? I mean.. the cable is blooming.... and if you can throw your phone on the passenger seat without the cable, you can throw it there with cable. lol.

Haha that’s okay I can help😂 so if your car has Apple car play or android auto, when you connect your phone’s charger up to your phone then plug the USB into your USB port of your car, it’ll automatically connect without you having to open car play or any apps. But this device plugs into the usb where your charger would go into the car, and wirelessly connects to your phone instead.
@@BenLovrien so I plug the phone into the car yesterday and it was amazing because when I got a text message it read it to me and I was able to reply without danger. I think I missed a few step because I just a few months ago got a Bluetooth compatible city player installed in my 2005 Nissan Titan. That thing didn’t even have a key fob so I had to stick the key into the door to unlock it. Now I have a car with push button start that will talk to me and it is crazy!

That might be related to your phone. My CarPlay used to cut out all the time, but it stopped after I got a new phone.

Great! Only complaint is that bc it’s wireless, the latency is a little annoying when skipping between songs but that’s it. Still works well.

I would bet you could if you can stream TH-cam and Netflix but I haven’t tried that yet

The device uses your cellular data from the hot spot on your your phone to connect to the internet.
It's a good product but for the price of it, I would just take the trouble and plug in my USB cable everytime to use Android Auto.

Connecting, it’s lightning fast. Switching songs is a little laggy but only a second or two.
