On your follow-up I’d like to know how well the mic works, how your voice control works and how well the GPS works. Can you do a long press and activate “Hey Siri”? Does the voice control on the unit work well? Can you use “Hey Google?”. Does it connect quickly to wireless CarPlay? Have you lost anything with using this unit other than the volume knob? It looks to me like the passenger will have no way of adjusting the volume when you are using Carplay or any time you are not in the native music control screen. Thanks for making this video. The new head unit looks great. I hope it works out for you.

Thanks for the video, very informative, now the original head unit, you can see the electrical engines powering up the battery, does this new head unit do the same? How is the Radio can you still use it, or is it staticy? I know when I had my head unit replaced in my highlander, some things did not work correctly. Please let me know if you can still access the old features on the new head radio.
