  • Our managing editor Jill Ciminillo gets a first look at the 2024 Lincoln Nautilus. This new Lincoln SUV has a lot of changes including a big screen, oddly-shaped steering wheel and cool lighting. Is it enough to sway buyers?

What aging drivers need is a dash like in the Toyota Yaris. Speedometer and fuel guage.

WOW, do I have a ton of comments on this video -- ya, GREAT VIDEO.
OK -- seriously now -- the original Nautilus that was in the video -- that color is DROP DEAD GEORGOUS!! I love that color -- is it Deep Plumb??
On the "welcome" sounds in the cockpit, can I have it play the "Star Wars" Theme?
The only other comment, is really not a comment on the video or the presenter -- Does the Right Hand Seat Button Pusher come standard???

Test drove the new Nautilus. Really liked the vehicle both inside and out. The screen was not distracting at all and the interface is intuitive. No problems. Would like the HVAC vents to be manually adjustable but certainly not a deal breaker (the oscillating fan mode is great). Everything inside feels very solid.
If you are looking for a BMW X5 performance look elsewhere. Full stop. If you want a comfortable yet somewhat engaging drive, give this a try.
The door handles are great as is the hidden rear wiper - very clean look.

Big, heavy, vehicle like that must have a smooth reliable V6? About a 4litre?

The grill looked solid, so I thought this was a BEV. If it is a gas engine, it would be awesome to have a coyote V8. Inside the dash could be used to hold fast food on it. The screens from the center to the passenger side should be optional because it looks really cheap. I really believe the designers/ engineers really don't talk to people who actually buy Lincoln vehicles.

Great video. Nice looking vehicle. Although if you can truly afford this vehicle, it may not matter but I have to wonder how much it cost to insure this vehicle compared to its predecessor.
I think most tech is great if it serves a practical purpose but so much of what is being added to even non luxury brand models is not practical or serve a practical purpose. It’s a ‘just because we can’ feature. This is adding significant cost to all new vehicles which impacts insurance, and in some states raises property taxes significantly.

The car is made in China - Ford choose not to make it in the USA

I mean screen is cool to look at, but yeah potentially distracting. Maybe a little too much too soon. I think Drivers like simple tech more than manufacturers think.

The interior is totally space age awesome!
Look at the speakers! What does the stereo sound like?
This thing is car show cool👍
    In the real world?
What an absolute piece of crap.
Imagine how distracted the driver is? Stay away from me!

So absolutely untrue. I have been driving one for about a week. It's solid, smooth, quiet, handles well, and after the first 15 minutes in the car, you barely pay attention to the widgets on the right half of the screen. Nice that they are there and they look good, but ZERO distraction.

Where to begin…First the good. Lighting signature is really cool. Now the bad really tired of all the manufacturers using gloss black on high touch surfaces, it scratches easily and looks like hell when dirty. Not a fan of those weird door handles and as cool as the dash looks that looks like it will be distracting as hell for most. Did I mention they want 50-80K for a vehicle made in China. 🙄 Well done Ford 80K and the avg Chinese worker makes 4500 USD a year.

The outdoor door handles are an original Lincoln design that was used on the 2017 Continental. Don't try to make sound like Lincoln copied an idea that Lexus came out with. Get your facts straight woman!!

Screen overload. And still with all the design options available there is that vertical screen in the center. Just standing straight up on its own. No attempt to design it in at all. Just the "stuck on" look. I want a luxury car with some flair, not tons of screens and settings and tech. Focus on the design, the ride, the look, and give me an engine other than the generic turbo 4. Some colors on the inside and outside other than neutral colors would be very welcome as well.

I bought a 2024 Lincoln nautilus. I'm having problems with the rotors. Rusting when you apply the brake, it sounds like chalk across a blackboard.
I've asked Lincoln to correct it They refused.I believe the rotors are made of inferior material i believe they could crack and I believe they're unsafe had i known this i might have bought a Cadillac.
