    I've had a Reserve II hybrid model for 3 weeks now. Went 426 miles on a tank. Mix city and highway. Just put in a new tank of gas. This vehicle is amazing. Smooth ride. Effortless acceleration. Very spacious. That screen is phenomenal and I actually love the steering wheel. Everything is just responsive.

      But reliability is subjective. People swear up and down a dodge will break the moment you drive it off the lot but i have a 2005 magnum that was bought new. 289k miles later and it's been phenomenal.

    • @vsavatar
      @vsavatar 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@dtay8913 to be fair, a lot of Lincoln's reliability issues come from experimental tech that's in most of their vehicles. Customers get confused and can't figure out how certain features work, so they bring it into the dealer thinking that it's broken. Sometimes the software really is buggy, though, but from what I've heard, the number of tech bugs in this model is either average or slightly above average compared to the industry and mostly relates to the Android Auto interface, which in itself is buggy as hell.

    I went to Lexus to test drive the Lexus but wasn’t impressed with the ride or comfort. My intention was to buy. I left the dealer and passed by a Lincoln dealer and saw a nautilus so I stopped. I test drove a Reserve III and instantly loved everything about it, so I bought it. Out of all my vehicles over the last 40+ years this has been hands down my favorite. I typically trade cars every 2-4 years. This one may be a keeper. I must admit thiugh, If I known it was built in China before buying it I would probably not even test ride it.

    I wonder how the sound level reading dealt with the active noise control function. The reason I say this is that ANC or ANR works by adding opposing sound waves so that the ear doesn't hear noise in certain ranges. However, my guess is that it does not affect the absolute number of decibels generated. In which case, the car could be quieter than others with lower decibel ratings, to the human ear, but still have a larger number of decibels. Did it sound to you like it was louder than other mid-size luxury SUVs?

    It’s great looking and full of gimmicks, I prefer something reliable that will not leave me or my family stranded or spend more time in the dealership than in my position.

      My first was an 07 MKX. I just bought a 23 Nautilus Black Label which is my 4th Lincoln. Only issue I ever had was on a 12 MKT with the sunroof getting stuck when trying to open it. I don't see where the reliability issue is.

      That style of wheel was used on the 60-63 Chrysler Imperial and some of the Chrysler 300's of that era. I've owned several of those over the years, so that wheel really caught my attention.

    Why does it seem like hybrids almost always have CVT's? Anyway, wish the car had marked D pads on the steering wheel. I wish it had rear HVAC controls. I (maybe) wish it had HUD.And ... I wish it's sound ratings were quieter.

    Also it's literally Fords Design. You can see Platform design from the Escape. That interior is gorgeousssssss. America has collaborated and owned many foreign brands. You see the new Landrover/Bronco ? You see the new Aston Martin coupe/Mustang Design. Bro Didn't Ford own Mazda too? So many brands we loved were owned by Ford GM and Chrysler. Don't yall everrrr hate on American Cars

    • @craigd10
      @craigd10 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      The Escape platform has a 106.7" wheelbase vs. 114. 2 for this. They are not the same. No other Ford model uses this version of the global C2 modular platform. The closest related relative is the China-only Zephyr, hence why Nautilus is made in China with its cousin instead of here. As for the complaints about building it in China, fun fact: Ford is a global corporation that has more factories outside the USA than it does within.

    • @CraigNelson-lm9wy

    I would argue that its acceleration is sluggish, when you can count 10x faster then it’s accelerating, it’s accelerating slow. Even the rolling speed up to 60, I immediately knew no one is passing a line of cars in this without a mile of distance to pass😅

    • @kenwolf2431
      @kenwolf2431 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I driven one and like they said it acceleration is good and will pass with ease. It gets to speed so smoothly you do not notice just how fast you are going to you look down 100 mph in this is just so easy.
