Colorado Rocky Mountain Scenic Drive | Denver to Buena Vista Cottonwood Pass Highway 285 4K

This drive starts in downtown Denver, Colorado and ends up at Cottonwood Pass outside of Buena Vista. I was headed up to climb Mount Yale the next morning. It's usually pretty easy to find dispersed camping in Colorado, so I didn't do any research before hand. I searched around four a suitable overnight camping spot. Somewhere where I could park my Jeep and sleep in the back. I wasn't able to find anything so I ended up having to pay to camp in the Collegiate Peaks Campground. Enjoy the beautiful drive through the scenic Rocky Mountains!

Um…it’s not Cottonwood Pass, it’s Kenosha Pass. Cottonwood Pass is Buena Vista to Altamont
