20lbs in comparison to carrying an air compressor that will be easily 100lbs, it's light.

if you are a homeowner watching this just buy a harbor freight airless, don’t spend $238 on a “professional” sprayer it’s not. you can’t treat it like a professional sprayer i’m willing to bet that piston is maybe good for 50 gallons, sounds like a lot but it’s not. and they didn’t mention but where is the piston rebuild kit? and how easy are tips to find for this thing? if you didn’t know you WILL go through tips like crazy lol wagner is a good homeowner product but don’t spend $200 or more on something you will use twice it’s just unnecessary. they are offering nothing different than a HF sprayer don’t waste the money on a disposable unit and some sales hype.
I looked at the video 3 times, to make sure of all details. The sprayer is impressive on the video, but it is not for all people, because not everybody knows about flow, techniques, covering edges ALWAYS 1st. The model described is actually the Wagner Pro 250R HEA, not the 150 Pro. So do not buy a 150 and expect the same results. They are quite heavy, and therefor the long hose and wiring. You are not going to walk around with it all day. And then, after all, there is ALWAYS A MAN THAT WILL CARRY IT, REGARDLESS OF WEIGHT. Lastly, worth the money, but I just bought one in UK for a staggering 469 Pounds from Toolstation. Works brilliant, saves a lot of time. Take your time and use quick mask to mask ceiling or walls. There after, right settings tried on a scrapped board 1st, it just flows. Clean immediately after finishing a job, never leave it to dry like a brush or roller! Good luck, and please feel free to comment on this, if you are a PRO spray painter LOL . . .

@rat tail they are not using oil based as far as I remember, and I don't feel like watching again to find out. And with oil based that's because of dry time. But I also wasn't thinking when I commented this because I was thinking one coat. If you're using brush and roller it would take 2 coats vs the sprayer only needing one. But still even with the 2 coats brush and roller I'd say 20 mins.

@rat tail that's what I'm saying. Panting a door with latex is definitely not gonna take 30 mins. And they're using latex in this vid. And I don't know about you but I've really seen people painting does with oil paint these days.

As a home owner who owns this machine I concur with your statement its a lot of fun to use easy to clean and gives a great finish.
One single coverage is never super Donne. Especially if your new colour ain't a same like the old

@@juan2049 nice try but what I'm saying is you won't be able to REACH certain areas in your average two story home. They have peaks that go higher and places that go further than 25 feet in the air or up a slant on a roof. You would have to have your rig set up literally right next to the house touching the brick or siding and that still won't cut it. You need at least 100 feet of hose to spray a 2 story house comfortably and you will only move it a few times. Comprendey esey?

Given that typically a story is 10 feet then it would make sense. You would have 5 feet of slack.

El equipo así como similares son muy recomendables en superficies grandes a pintar, sin embargo si lo que vas a pintar, es solamente una pieza, como el caso de la puerta, tendrás a considerar que tendrás que proteger las superficies anexas y posteriormente la limpieza del equipo, lo que te llevara mucho mas tiempo hacerlo con maquina. Te lo recomiendo en grandes superficies.

Are we just going to ignore the amount of time it takes to prep the surface and area? A roller will have zero oversprays and less cleanup.
spraying is usually used in new construction, or when you paint a room for the first time after renovation.
i would see this as a great tool, for doors (you can remove them)
not sure if it would work that great in a finished room, with flooring etc.
as for the prep ! wash, prime and spray.

$245.48? that's a decent price for this unit... as a professional I only use Graco, and a entry level professional 395PC pump is about $1200. So for a home owner this might be a good buy for basic jobs, i wouldn't paint a house with this though. Cool to see they've adapted the low pressure fine finish (FFLP) tips, they do help.

Electric sprayers are great 👍, but don’t ever use one with having a very good breathing mask and eye protection.
I want to see that white sheeting behind that red fence.......over spray misting everywhere. Your neighbours gardens gonna have red flowers and grass from over the top of the fence.

Most of these pressurized sprayers shoot the paint out very heavily this one seems to control the fluid rate much better.

30 mins to paint one door face? what kind of painter are those?
30 minutes for a 6 panel door face is about right with a brush.
I've been painting for almost 40 years started out at 18 years old and still doing what I love. I had a graco 395 for 25 years with that alone I need to say anymore. Wangers are for home owners that are going to paint probably 3x there life and then they call the professionals with the graco to do the job. Sorry Wagner your just a home owners tool not a contractors solution.
Totally agree sir. I've been a spray painter for 18 years and I used so many kinds of sprayers from traditional compressed air sprayers and airless sprayers.I always go for Graco.. currently using Graco Xtreme x70 and it is a beast very comfortable to use.
This Wagner sprayer Here in the video is junk it’s a homeowner one... but Wagner makes professional airless too in German look up Wagner sf 31 for example they have big gas powered hydraulic driven ones too like Graco and Graco has cheap junk entrance model too I have Wagner sf31 and Graco 490, 595 I love em for sure
You guys never cleaned the machine, how long does that take and what about the paint on the hose where does that go when ur finished? Couple of snake oil salesmen!!!!!!
There's other videos that show how to clean it. Bucket of water and spray until its drained all the paint. Search it.
Umm paint goes back into the tin ...... where do you think it would go 😂
The paint returns in to the tin via the return hose when cleaning the unit just put the main hose into a bucket of water with the smaller return hose fed into your paint tin and remove it once the returning paint thins out with the water flowing through the system...Once you remove the smaller return hose just leave it out and spray with the gun until the unit is spraying clean water from the bucket only....Takes about 5 minutes if you do it right.
JH, it is a bit of a mission to clean a gun, the unit (including filter) and hose. Even more so if your using mineral or urethane base products.

Dear professionals/contractors complaining:
This is a home owner / DIY tool. Why should I pay 1500-2000€ on a small Greaco (at least in Europe) wenn I can get a Wagner 250 for under 400€ and I only use it 2 times in 10 years?

i own one. they are much faster then rolling but the clean up and over spray mist takes alot of clean up.
These are great but cleaning time blockages and paint they eat paint so bad these are not practical but look good.

Hardly professional. Can you imagine all the bending you would be doing a large or double side fence. I prefer using a Graco 390. A long wand with less bending.
we use my pops Graco hes been using for 25 years yes 25!! If you mask right shouldnt worry about overspray 🤷🏼♂️. Painting is prep work dont be lazy!
Wagner and Titan are the same company world wide, Titan is huge but only in the US, the rest of the world uses Wagner, the Wagner and Titan Professional airlesses are the exact same units in different colors. The HEA tip is sold as both Wagner and Titan, there's no difference. As to comparing this unit to a Graco X7 or other X range, they're not comparible. The X range Graco is a High pressure sprayer whereas the The Control Pro is a soft finish low pressure unit. Both are serviceable and both use single stroke piston technology. These are marketed and sold to DIY or semi professional people, not for contractors. Its simply a matter of "Horses for courses". But make no mistake these Control Pros are great for the money.

And it only takes a quick 90 minutes to clean out the system when you could have painted the door and cleaned up in 25 mins total.

Takes me about 5 minutes to clean this sprayer and it does give a fantastic one coat finish.I painted my back fence with this machine one coat for a 6 foot high 150 foot long fence it took me about 3 hours to paint both sides and it still looks amazing a year on.

Wagners later models have very easy cleanup. They’ve removed 5/6 oh-rings. A few gallons of spray gun cleaner and you’re fine. 30-50$ in cleanup.

What tip you used in
i'd stick with graco, titan or lemmer. you can just get a FFLP spray tip (fine finish low pressure) and get same results, which is what they might be using in the vid.
