@@ottounojasmund1919 It became very apparent they didn't really understand how elenda or cathar's crusade work, I think that's part of it. Even when they did finally do it they did it wrong. Elenda's power was 11 not 10, and the tokens put counters on themselves as well. It should have been 11 13/13 lifelinkers. Which would have been even more if she didn't miss the wolves to ashnods earlier.
So much fun. Watch EDH is like sports to me. "no, you could have killed that/sacced that/played that", like my wife yells at football, haha. Such a good games, I love seeing the creativity of the casual decks as well as your cEDH content. As a fellow Canadian, I laughed at Madison saying "same thing" when Alex said, "back from the dead, no just Québec". Gold. Also, Alex and Madison, I really like your sweaters.
Madison had the game, with exsanguinate on the stack u sac the soldier + the lord then elenda (being a 14/14) and thats 16 total triggers times 2, for a total of 32 dmg killing the table.
Interaction that I see didn't get noticed was with Howlpack Avenger with either of the indestructible stuffy dolls, if any of Eliots creatures took 1 damage theres a loop with using the Avenger Trigger hitting your dolls which then retriggers the Avenger and you can repeat this for infinite damage off just hitting the indestructibles over and over again. If Eliot got to untap he could have had Taunter fight something and it was GG. Cool game!
Came here to say this because I noticed it said any target and he had an invincible target that'd trigger it infinitely that also shanks everything itself
I haven't finished yet but Madison missing all the Elenda triggers from all the wolves sac'ing to Ashnod's Altar pains me as a fellow Orzhov enthusiast
Awesome game! I like the unique variety of decks. I've wanted to build a stuffy doll deck for a while now and this is inspiring. I have an Elenda deck that's super fun to play; I like her better than Teysa because of the pseudo token sub-theme. Thanks for the entertainment and funny banter!
Loved the game! I really like the spice that each deck brought to the game. I feel like aristocrat is a lot of work to keep up with all of the triggers, and this game drove that further home for me. Also, random thought on my brain, aristocrat is actually burn just not in red colors and more resilient by my estimation.
I may be missing something but could Elliot not have killed Alex in response to the big spell with brash T? As it was night as there was something on the board with at least 4 power?
It doesn't have haste. (if it did he actually could have killed the entire table since the werewolf's triggers could point at the Brash Taunter, retriggering it infinitely.)
As soon as Eliot played the Brash Taunter he could have won. He had the mana to make it fight, which would have triggered Brash and Howlpack. You have Brash hit the opponent and Howpack hit the Brash, triggers again, repeat and win.
Eliot might be bad at dice rolling.. But at least he's not Wil Wheaton!! 😂😂😂 Edit: In case folks didn't know, Spice8rack uses it/them pronouns!(No hate or shade, just letting folks know)
Seeing Sak-Smasher built without a tonne of clone spells to copy sakashima hurts to watch, every clone triggers Vial and makes another one ready for the next clone spell
"Who invited Reddit." Is maybe my favorite piece of banter this year.
36:47 Oh no, Madison missed all of the Elenda triggers from Alex sacrificing to Ashnod's Altar!
She even couldve sacced her elenda before her turn to have like 30 30/30 tokens. Game would’ve ended real Quick.
it's okay i missed my triggers too

“Skill issue” popping up during Eliot’s intro made me actually laugh out loud

Eliot, last in turn order, first in our hearts.
still love Ben Wheeler's nickname for coalhauler swine, the "job pig"
Obsessed with that Vial Smasher deck. Definitely want to build that now.
Madison missed all the Elenda triggers when Alex sacced all the wolves for the Exsanguinate...
"Is it a bad idea? Am I dumb?"
"Possibly."
"Extremely possibly."
I feel this in my bones all the time playing Magic, and I cackled. 10/10 exchange.
"recently returned from the dead .. oh wait, just Quebec"
I'm dead LMFAO

What. A. Game.
I hadn’t realized it was the Faldorn PRECON until the post-Battle debrief 😅
Haven't watched yet, but I'm super stoked for one of my favorite spellslinger commanders in casual!!! I'm so excited to see Firesong and Sunspeaker!!!
"Wizard Poker in my friend's basement" 😂
Not sure if there was a mic issue for Elliott, sounds like he has a robot-ish voice.

Oof lol yeah didn't notice it in the game. Thanks for pointing out I could have stomped them even harder lmao XD
@@TheSpikeFeeders ggs, orzhov rises to the top even with missed triggers 😂
Cathar's Crusade goes BRRR

First gameplay video I’m watching of y’all and I feel like I get a shoutout with that bastion ❤🎉😂 (I too call it Sebastian of Remembrance)
Love your casual games, thx
good game, good friends!
It's flood counters for Everflowing Chalice.
I am really getting sold on a Faldorn deck. So many wolves

I can't tell you why, but the spike logo has very Eliot energy
I feel like... you should have sacced Elenda in response to blowing up the Altar... Cathar's makes a big army
I've been watching so much LLR lately that I expected everyone to introduce themselves properly 😅
Thank you for having me, it's great to be here!

Am I allowed to make a playmat with a spider that looks like a hand with long leg fingers and call it Jim?

Does anyone know what sleeves Madison is using?
They're the apple green matte dragon shields :)
Love the casual games
So many missed triggers with elenda during the exanguinate sac

Deliberate choice. Cloning Vial Smasher doesn't do it for me.
@TheSpikeFeeders my LGS plays 1v1 games, but with the multilayer rules (weird I know) so I guess for me the clone build is just a lot faster
@@KingSkinny-ww2pl it probably is, but that wasn't the most important thing for me when I built the deck.
6 color card back strikes again!
Missed triggers and miscalculated cathars crusade triggers
im annoyed that Madison is playing with the playmate up side down.
