Just come here from watching this film in full, it is deeply important that more people see this and see that no aspect of our way of life is "bloodthirsty" or simply rich people doing this for fun. I encourage everyone to share this knowledge across whatever platform they can, and in so doing banish some of the misinformation that has created such a divide between "us" and "them".
You've got yourself a petitioner; I've had it with people condemning other people they don't even know over animals! It's just NEEDLESSLY hateful for people to automatically assume the worst of their fellow man when ever an animal is killed or suffers. They don't know the whole story and have no right to pass such ugly judgement without knowing it. Honestly, how can humans be expected to help animals when they insist on hating their own kind?
@@videogollumer clearly you don’t have any idea how nasty these people can be. They frequently trespass, break the law (hunting animals with hounds has been banned in the UK since 2004) and are just a general menace. They rip apart people’s pets, and then try and dispose of the evidence. Hunting with hounds is an unnecessary blood sport, and is a simply a means of people trying to get a kick out of killing small animals. It’s not pest control or humane culling, it’s for sport
@@theotheseaeagle "can" and "are" are not the same thing. Yes, there are SOME hunters who that do that and SOME who do even WORSE; but that doesn't mean ALL hunters are like that, thus you have no right to assume the worst of the 90% of the story you don't know.
@@videogollumer I’m from the UK where this crap goes on. I support hunting when it’s for food and controlling animal populations, this does neither! IT’S FOR SPORT. There’s plenty of instances of their hounds biting people, killing people’s pet cats, small dogs, poultry, sheep, calves etc. They are an absolute menace in the countryside, and still continue to break the law despite knowing full well what they are doing is illegal.
hahaha see how the fawn was running back to the hounds like it wanted to play hahaha how every dog should be when it comes to hunting and game it shouldn't touch
OffTheBank yes I don’t hunt but I own a hound and I’ve never wanted to hunt with him I taught him since he was a puppy sniffing is ok but he has to be gentle he will get excited and tree stuff still but if I ask him to leave something before it gets to that point he will at this point he lives with a rabbit and loves cats a little too much
no they wouldn't; Generally the way the dogs kill chickens and fawns is by jumping on them and playing and then they poke a hole and blood comes out and then five seconds later thats it for the prey; But until they poke a hole they play with it like it is one of their own puppies
There's 40 dogs in the pack. He exercises them every day - and they're all off-lead ! I'll find the whole documentary, if you like. Really interesting..........
By 'tree-huggers' I'm guessing you mean anti-hunters. In which case how is this 'one in the eye' to anyone? He hasn't killed anything and is in fact proving the point that if the house ds are properly trained they won't harm animals they may come across during a trail hunt therefore making the argument that it's impossible to stop them going after foxes less credible. ?????????????????? okay
Fawn was just hungry. Mom will find it just fine. They often move a bit when planted anyway to avoid predators. As to a little dog and human smell again odds are mom will be fine. It's not like it undoes the baby's smell and baby will find mom just fine. They usually take them back
My pet foxhound would just show interest in that deer and start baying, we often encounter them when out in the woods. He obviously has a pack mentality. My pet whippet-collie is a different story, she has strong prey drive, she would take that deer down in seconds. Don't know where this was filmed, sounds like near the London area from the cockneyish accents. From Cornwall, UK.
Shocker - dogs have a hunting and killing instinct. Shocker - responsible humans can train and handle them. Most of the antis are the same people who keep bull terriers that end up mauling people. All dogs are 'loveable', you've just got to know what real love looks like, and that's respecting their nature and keeping them balanced.
ai naum ,eles tinham q tirar a cachorrada logo dai porque veada criando corre de roda defendendo a cria, tem q respeita, senão vai indo acaba, mais gostei muito da cadelada, muito bonita, parabens,!!!
How is the deer mum going to find the fawn now when it stinks of dogs and humans and isn't where it was left? So there's another dead fawn for you, even if it wasn't the dogs who killed it!
Class video, it clearly shows that hounds are highly trained dogs. Great to see.
Very sweet video, the pups looked like they just want to play with the fawn. Darling hounds
Ò
You wouldn’t be saying that when see them ripping apart cats, small dogs and foxes...
Hounds are such kind, gentle animals. No where near bloodthirsty!
This video begs to differ:

Wonderful Pack control :-)))
most people cant control 1 dog...let alone a pack of hounds...hats off to our whippers huntsman and handlers...well done
Sage what a houndsman .Testament to the mans knowledge of hunting dogs. They are NOT rampant killers in the right hands.

I'm amazed, really gentle for a pack of hunting dogs. My two dogs would have eaten that fawn before he took two steps.

My lab would of killed it
They aren’t normally like that. You should see them tearing apart people’s pets and livestock:

Ha ha, See how the vicious hounds ripped the fawn to pieces. Fantastic hound control and a credit to the hunting staff. 👍
Did they have control of these hounds?:
th-cam.com/video/LGiz4iy1ESQ/w-d-xo.html
I've read somewhere on the web that a pack of Foxhounds have actually adopted an orphaned fawn.
THAT'S dog control ! One in the eye for the tree-huggers !
is it deer hunting dogs or a dog hunting deer?!
Neither - they're fox hounds but what control !
Yeah and how many dogs are there. Some people can't even control a single dog

I love hounds but they bark alot,it is amazing your hounds dont bark that much!!!
So bad
Vive la chasse de tt modes et tt pays
Oh dear, oh deer oh dear.
Wow group of hounds that dont bark!!!
Amazing control of the hounds. I wonder if the results would have been different without the huntsmen?

What happens with all those dogs eventually....?
That deer just wanted to play apparently..

What pack is this, does anyone know?
my pups didn't like the music towards the end
wonder why the mother left
Mother deers always leaving their kids over the day in high grass so pretators can't see them and then they go searching food
Amazing l wish l had the time to get a handle on my dawgs like that

This is so majorly out of character for me, but that was really cute
dogs hate foxes i live in the cite my dogs wont hert anything but hate foxes
Their not animal aggressive
Pls people, do u all know the fact that these hounds are also used by hunters to hunt other truly beautiful endangered species?
Nywsa, What endangered animals are you suggesting that are hunted?
New born fawns have no scent so the hounds being scent hunters naturally show little interest.
You don't have to have scent when your sight chasing these are broke fox dogs
Great clip, does not suit the anti agenda at all hence the silence
