I am Amanda from Hong Kong. I create easy and practical Cantonese learning videos for complete beginners to intermediate learners. My full-time job is as a flight attendant, but in my spare time, I enjoy studying foreign languages. My job allows me to visit many places and meet a variety of people, providing me with plenty of opportunities to practice what I have learned.
Due to COVID-19, I haven't flown regularly for over a year, but I find TH-cam extremely helpful for maintaining my language proficiency. One day, out of curiosity, I looked for Cantonese learning channels and was surprised to find that there are so few, with most of the good ones being from overseas. That's why I started "5 Minute Cantonese" in 2020.
