In my opinion that death was quite decent. I mean that there's no need everytime to expect all the fan theories to happen. Sometimes it is good for a tv series to think outside of the box. I am not a "tryhard" Game Of Thrones fan but I love this season.
The higher you get, the hardest the fall will be. She certainly fell from grace. All the way down under the Red Keep. It can't get any pittiful than that. If she could see herself die like that from a distance, she'd be ashamed of her not to have died with grace, strength, and power. It's a powerful ending for us... if she's indeed dead ;)
Lena Headey not winning an award for her fantastic perfomance as Cersei is a real mystery and an absolute crime, she was the best villain on Game Of Thrones and one of the main reasons why i always watched the show. She was the woman you love to hate and tune in to see her get what she truly deserves. Such a beautiful and very talented actress, she has always been one of my favourites for years and is a true first class.

Just top of my head stuff, there are at least 5x as many great or very good actors, who starred in the show. Not that they had that much good material after season 3, but the acting rarely fails in the series.

Interviews like this really highlight how talented of an actress she is, because when she's just speaking casually like this, there is NO HINT of Cersei. For a lot of actors, if you look hard enough, you can detect parts of their character in the way they actually act when just being natural. Mannerisms, cadence of speech, inflections. But with Lena, it's like she becomes a completely different person when portraying Cersei. Lena is just gone.
I'm rootin for her Cersei is the most fascinating character in that show in my opinion If you study her character intricately without being all black and white, you understand her motivation, it's all about survival, and like she said famously in season 1 (the only time a character spelled the name of the show: "when you play the game of thrones you win or you die." like if you root for her too

That my friends, is the mark of a great villain, a villain you can kinda relate to and who has strong reasons for be things they do but are still “bad” things that we would shudder at but they do for realistic and kinda logical reasons, not just for the sake of it, I personally reckon she’s the best villain ever because I can’t think of anyone else who is so universally despised while still being relatable and not just being evil for the sake of it, even if you don’t watch GOT you still know who she is and that she’s the villain

I really hope that Cersei makes it to the end. I love her character and she's just brilliant playing her. You can't have hero's if you don't have villains. Her and her father are 2 of my favorite characters in the entire series. They use their minds not just the sword to get what they want. Most of the "hero's" are whiny and annoying. Please keep her until the end.
She won't. Her death has been heavily telegraphed in the novels. And she has no place in the world. She isn't going to be the Queen at the end, and if she isn't the Queen, she can't be alive. She won't give up her power, and in any event, none of her enemies would keep her alive after she's overthrown.

This woman is a fantastic actress honestly. A ruthless Queen of the seven kingdoms, first of her name, another ruthless queen Gorgo of Sparta. Even a protective mother to 3 kids in a world where the purge exists. Every movie I’ve seen this woman in she nails her character..Every. Single. Time! Much respect!
Lena is such a fantastic actress. She needed an Emmy, so many people hated her which shows how talented Lena Headey really is. I really hope to see her on so many more movies and shows to come.

I think she was easily the best performance on the entire show which is saying quite a bit considering some of the others you could pick. She absolutely crushed the character.

Interviews like this really highlight how talented of an actress she is, because when she's just speaking casually like this, there is NO HINT of Cersei. For a lot of actors, if you look hard enough, you can detect parts of their character in the way they actually act when just being natural. Mannerisms, cadence of speech, inflections. But with Lena, it's like she becomes a completely different person when portraying Cersei. Lena is just gone.

If you study her character intricately without being all black and white, you understand her motivation, it's all about survival, and like she said famously in season 1 (the only time a character spelled the name of the show: "when you play the game of thrones you win or you die."

Raymond P. I‘d rather say she acted out of paranoia that all that belongs to her gets ripped apart and she tried to prevent that from happening with all of her power. Mostly her kids. Not that all she held dear was taking away and her lover and brother will turn away from her there’s nothing to loose and that’s when she went insane and emptily evil.

That my friends, is the mark of a great villain, a villain you can kinda relate to and who has strong reasons for be things they do but are still “bad” things that we would shudder at but they do for realistic and kinda logical reasons, not just for the sake of it, I personally reckon she’s the best villain ever because I can’t think of anyone else who is so universally despised while still being relatable and not just being evil for the sake of it, even if you don’t watch GOT you still know who she is and that she’s the villain

I really hope that Cersei makes it to the end. I love her character and she's just brilliant playing her. You can't have hero's if you don't have villains. Her and her father are 2 of my favorite characters in the entire series. They use their minds not just the sword to get what they want. Most of the "hero's" are whiny and annoying. Please keep her until the end.
She won't. Her death has been heavily telegraphed in the novels. And she has no place in the world. She isn't going to be the Queen at the end, and if she isn't the Queen, she can't be alive. She won't give up her power, and in any event, none of her enemies would keep her alive after she's overthrown.
