- This is the new 2024 Chevrolet Equinox in the LS trim level. This Equinox LS comes in mosaic black metallic on medium ash gray cloth interior. The powertrain consists of a 1.5 liter turbocharged 4 cylinder engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Standard features of this Equinox LS include Bluetooth audio, a backup camera, and WIRELESS Apple CarPlay/WIRELESS Android Auto compatibility. Additional features include a remote vehicle start system, power driver's seat, and lane keeping system with lane departure warning.

I had a 2018 Equanox Premium with 115,000 mi. Traded it in on a 24 RS. Just drove back and forth from Chicago area to Florida. No problems with comfort, easy on gas and nice tight feel when driving. Found the steering wheel too hard for long term driving,bought cushioned steering wheel cover,much better. Happy so far with the way it looks and handles.

Not long ago you could buy this car loaded with AWD and the bigger turbo engine for less than 30k.
At least this is still a little better than last years pricing.

The Equinox still looks decent on the outside, & it's cheap and plentiful to buy, but lags behind the competition. I would rather wait for the next gen Equinox (not the EV though), because I think it'll bring the Equinox to the forefront in design AND features... essentially, a step up from the new Trax & Trailblazer, but not as huge as the Traverse.
Now my dream SUV.
I had the Chevy Malibu 2017 same interior and all and it caught fire

I’ve noticed a lot of auto makers are now keeping out on their headlights. They’re going back to using reflector housings instead of projector. This redesign has reflector. Also, the hazard light switch looks very flimsy.

2025 FWD models have a CVT. AWD models get the 9 speed automatic.

The price is a little lower because they're putting a cheap little too small engine in this car that doesn't belong in it. It's NOT going to last. If they don't last in the smaller econo cars, they're NOT going to last in a bigger SUV for half as long. GM is totally full of it.
Honda crv, nissan roque (3 cylinder), hyundai tucson, kia sportage all have 1.5 motors so what your point with GM?
@@paulsimmons9308 Not just GM. Automakers back in the day use to overbuild engines so at least they could last. These new engines they're making are all disposable and not made to last. Good older cars are getting 300,000+. Thes newer cars are traded and in the junkyard by 150,000 miles.
This engine is not overworked. All you need is to rev it to about 2500 rpm's to start moving and keep up with traffic. The transmission up shifts quick to second gear. At 70mph it runs at about 2000 rpm's. If you really want to move fast you'll need to rev it to about 3000 rpm's which is still not bad. I own one for 4 years now, and so far no compline's. Time will tell. The gas mileage is very good I get on average between 29 to 33 MPG city and up to 40mpg on the highway set at 75mph.Air conditioner does not have a big effect on engine power, very little power loss with air on. But I agree, if someone likes to drag race from every traffic light perhaps you need something with bigger engine. @@RogerBrenon
