Nice review. I like that you reviewed a more affordable LT trim. Most other reviewers review RS and Premier more expensive trim levels. Thank you for sharing.
Unless you're off to the races, the Equinox is not built for speed. It's a utilitarian vehicle for everyday needs & driving. I have a 2o11 w/ what amounts to premium trim. 2 tone leather seats, power liftgate, heated seats. Has served me well & rides very smooth. It's not built for speed, but again, has served my needs as a single woman mot hauling kids around. I keep the rear sests down for hauling cargo & to put my bike in during warmer weather for biking. Looking to possibly purchase the 2023 Premium when 0% interest rates return at some point usually around Oct. My car only has 85K miles, but I want to get the most trade-in or sale price out of my Equinox. I take excellent care of it & no scratches, dings or dents in the paint after 12 yrs! I like the simplicity of the Equinox.
i just got the same thing, but with the FWD to push-button AWD to ON feature..love that feature..not unnec. burning up tires when you dont need AWD all the time. i have to say..i actually found this to be quite peppy and perfect power for any situation..if you want a race car, ya, this isnt it
Thanks, Great job! ....I'm always interested in how deluxe or cheap car models treat their sun visor mirror lighting. Though I may be spoiled by the old Cadillac days.
Nice review! Word has it the Equinox received 5 more horsepower to the 1.5T for ‘23. Did you feel any difference in acceleration between the ‘22 & ‘23 models? I have a ‘22 LT in Summit White with the confidence/convenience, safety and infotainment packages .. had a few hiccups with it at 1st but has turned out good so far. There’s times I wish the 1.5T had more power but around town it’s adequate. jazzed mine up a bit w/ some blacked out “Equinox” & “LT” emblems and black bow ties front and back, goes great with Summit White and keeping the carpets clean with the floor and cargo liners which compliment the inside well too
@@NothinButCarReviews thank you! If I did have to do the Equinox again, I’d have gotten the same packages as my ‘22 LT but thrown in the panoramic sunroof and AWD even .. maybe next ride though. Keep up the great reviews
Thanks for the great review of the 2023 Equinox. I am planning on getting the 2024 Equinox EV if the Est pricing is what I have seen online stays the same. But, Question i have with this 2023 Equinox - with the size engine you mentioned in these, how much of a strain is put on it if we turn on the Air Conditioning???? Thanks and take care.
I think I’ve seen four reviews of the Equinox on this channel over several years. It’s interesting to see how your views on a vehicle evolve over time. I don’t own one, but it’s probably my favorite vehicle to rent, because it’s so easy to use. Occasionally, I think of buying one, because with dealer discounts, they’re pretty much the cheapest compact SUVs out there. (Yes, dealer discounts are back at Chevy, at least here in Southern California). And they are quite useful. Plus this generation Equinox has been around long enough to demonstrate decent reliability. I most recently test drove a 2022 LT, which felt unusually slow for some reason. I’d never felt the 1.5 turbo really slow before, so maybe Chevy tuned it for fuel economy in 2022 (or maybe there was just something wrong with the car). Also the interior is pretty cheap, especially compared to something like a Mazda CX-5, which is a direct competitor.
Nice 👍 🙂 suv ?had a 2017 Equinox with the 2,0 litre turbo engine 9 speed 🚄 auto ? beautiful , plenty of power for a suv of it's weight and size ? Loved it ☺️ ?no probs.1.5 engine ? Nah underpowered? shame ?.
Me and my mom just bought this today !
😊
R u luving it soo far????

Good review, convinced me to buy one .. thanks
My dream American SUV! Terrific job bro.
Mine is the 2024 Trax
Just bought one, payed $29k out the door, for base model, Great value.
No it isn’t
You got suckered. We were at Chevy today and they wanted $29k and we talked them down to $27k and we still walked.
You definitely could’ve gotten this vehicle for a cheaper price or even a year or 2 older fully loaded for that much yikes
that panoramic roof is huge. im about to get a '23 nox lt from my work, but I doubt its gonna have the sunroof!
i got a 2019 and love mine! such a lovely drive and so easy to use.
get rid of that pos 😂😂😂
My mom got one. She was coming from a RAV4. As basic as the RAV4 was, it's unbreakable. Time will tell whether this was a good idea or not.
@@Fucklesticks 🤣🤣🤣 your mom downgraded
I have a 20 Equinox with a 1.5 engine and I thinks it’s adequate power

Probably a little bit of strain, but not enough to notice. With those kind of motors, I try to cut off A/C under hard acceleration.
At this point in time, this is the SUV I'd get. Close was the Chevy Colorado.

I just purchased a 2024 yesterday in the same color.
How much
It was about $29500 plus taxes and fees. No extra dealer garbage add ons.@@goinoutlikegeez
Is this small like a Nissan rogue?
I like the Equinox, but it's not as good as the Escape or Rogue/Outlander.

1.5 quite underpowered for a lot of buyers I’d think, but, very good commuter vehicle for driver who doesn’t accelerate quickly
My mom is going to buy this suv at 2024 April 30
😊
2025 is totally redesigned! It looks much better! Starting production in june!!
That in side display is sad. Same as the 2020.
Yeah, excited for new Equinox EV!
The interior of any US made car looks so dated.
take a look at the 24 chevy trax..you'll think otherwise
