Just a heads up you went for 3 ranged at 16:36 in the video but there was a 6 melee damage up, taking the 3 ranged would give 3 ranged and 3 melee damage but taking the +6 melee damage up would give 3 ranged meaning you would essentially gain 3 melee for free kinda, it doesnt really matter tho. They are the same; for Generalist every 1 ranged gives 1 ranged and 2 melee and every 2 melee gives 2 melee and 1 ranged. That is to say, both options scale 1 ranged to be worth 2 melee damage.

@@jtfi255 You appear to be correct in that it does say that; the live version at the time wasn't like that but it looks like at the time he played it was like that on the alpha branch. Which is weird because it appears the update went live with the changes but that one appears to be reverted: in-game, it is actually as I mention yet again even after the update. So he must've played that character at literally the worst time he could've done so.
I feel like ghostly weapons are kinda like the opposite of that ring in that you almost want to ditch them once you're comfortable with the stats you got. Except maybe the attack speed knife but even then other things can substitute better
I just woke up to see that this video was at the top of my list to watch… I got so giddy and was too excited not to watch the new changes of brotato. This game gets better and better everytime. Shout out to the developers!
i'm sure you already thought of this but i think the ethereal weapons might lend themselves well with this character. with all the ongoing buff and the passive of this character it might be interesting.
I love how the devs used mods from the community and added in the game permanently, there’s so many other games that would be absolutely incredible if other devs did that…ESO,Fallout,GTA, and a few others. It’s a shame other devs are too proud to do so!
@@stevem4783 It was only busted because it was necessary for most weapons to function, and it was one of the few ways to make high Damage stats as important as high attackspeed. I could see it as a move in the right direction if more weapons got piercing by default while going up the tiers instead of bandana being easily available
@@stevem4783 to be honest with you, the main drawback to melee weapons was how swarmed you got past a point, especially because the swiping motion didn't exist but also because most melee weapons had on average way less attack speed than the ranged ones. With Bandana being harder to get, now *both* types of weapons have the unfun aspect of getting swarmed by unlucky spawns, and minions determining the game's difficulty more than the higher enemies will (except the bandage ones, which are a very fun spike in difficulty, in contrast to the difficulty created by tons of on-screen minions)
You can sense the passion of the creator in the new changes. Love this game more and more.
I don't know if you noticed but the boss says mutation after it you damage it enough for it to go to next phase. Love the new brotato content

I think the hp gen weapon made this run more difficult after a certain point, you gave up SO much damage to hang onto them lol -- fun run tho!
