I've been a fan for ages. I have so much trouble sleeping but I can put your videos on my headset and it's perfect to help me drift off. You have this wonderful mix of upbeat, calm and fun with how you narrate your gameplay. Thank you for the videos. P.S. I think I've purchased about 4 different games just because of you.
hey reto, i hate backseating, but the dome armor upgrade is different when you use the sword dome. it's not melee resistence, its a health restore at a certain amount of damage
Also, I believe the health restore of that upgrade (Impact Recuperation 1 and 2) are bugged and don’t work? So I think it’s better to hold on to Cobalt to heal manually?
The converter won't be of much use unless you actually use it. The trick is to always keep it running, which is why the transmutations that take longer are actually a good pick. Iron multiplication really pays off it you get it early, and so does 1 cobalt to 10 iron.
I do not mean to sound bad by back seating, but the resource converter can be really good. When you get the water conversion upgrade it increases the time to 1.4 cycles or something close, but it makes it where you can get infinite resources over time by converting water to gold and vise versa.
As requested, mean comments about your mining efficiency. When you turn a 2x2 strip with a full 2x2 corner it makes one unexplored cell in the elbow, surely costing you like 0.05 cobolt over all your runs.
Now that you've unlocked it, I can finally say - Long Cycle is my preferred way to play the game, and I'm so glad you can just turn it on for any relic hunt run freely. It just feels so nice
I was thinking you are gonna go small and easy with i heard there is an achievement from beginning but you went hard and medium with i have cool drill upgrade so let me see is there any secret down there. Accidental finishing was cherry on top. I didnt saw it came too. I seen everything coming and go oh no
imo the converter is a scam on anything bigger than a small map, it is basically a "get rich quick" scheme. by the time it takes to spit out 5 iron at the cost of 1 iron (effectively givin you 4 iron) you find so much more stuff, it doesn't help if you need some ressources in a pinch. it has some limited use on small maps if you want to be a completionist and upgrade everything to max. my fav is the lift so far because even without any upgrades it helps a lot (and ofc drillbert+drilliam)

@@mojojojo6535 Ohhh that's why I though it was garbage. It's not as good as I thought sadly. Thanks

Just to confirm, you bringing back the gadget bumped the artifact in

Finally someone did this, my life feels complete
I enjoy your content so much. I recently discovered you but your channel is a gem and you deserve a lot more popularity :D
Awesome. I switched to 2x speed for a minute there, and the transition to an actual battle was hilariously jarring by comparison.
Challenge idea for a video you have to mine every block on the 1st layer before you go down and same fir ever other layer

The two-way teleporter is very good, particularly on larger maps and in the mazes.
But you need to learn to use it right and well, of course.
Just wanted to say I'm really enjoying this series
Sane person: you wouldn’t dig the entire map right?
Retro: Vøïd :)
The stun laser gadget pushed the super bomb relic thingy (mcguffin) into your dome.

Very fun! Love the little surprises you can dig up.
58:27 Highlighted something I find hilarious.
1:03:58 The time where the game said "Screw you"
Doing it on a big map with straight up turn into a podcast
This was insanely satisfying.

I was so fast I got here faster than the notification bell rang
More please!

Is it gold or iron?
Iron but since the color palette changes in every map it looks like gold
It could be both, or maybe neither?
IRON !!!
who cares
It feels like gold.
Whooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!
incredibly satisfying to see someone finally do this; very cool that the dev gives an achievement for it too!
I did it in the small map
Devs promised new domes last year, no news today on the steam page... Great gameplay anyway !
58:33 kinda sus broh
This makes my OCD happy.
58:31 dirty mind
You kept trying to reflect projectiles with your sword, but you never actually bought the upgrade that allows you to do that.
the sword can block at a base, reflect is an upgrade sure, but you might as well _stop_ the projectiles from hitting you?
What gold are you talking about? The squares are iron.
I am well aware, they are colored gold on the base color palette and used to buy items, hence gold
