- Hey party people! Thanks for hanging out with me while I share this New Thanksgiving 2022 Cook With Me! Where I share 15 Recipes, some tried and true and some new!! This year looked a little different because I had a newborn so not everything was as nice as I wanted it to be, or as put together - but that's okay that's life. All that mattered is that there was food to eat and our family was gathered around the table and we all spent time with each other, the ultimate gift! I hope you had a great thanksgiving and you ate some yummy food!
Best,
Kim!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!!! So I wrote down each step when you made the steakhouse rolls and I made them! Never in my life have I made bread and I NAILED it!!!!! I even made the cinnamon butter they serve with them at the restaurant! Everyone went bonkers and said they tasted exactly the same!!! So thank you for helping me try new things!
Yesss 🎉🎉 so happy to hear that!! Glad they turned out great!!
I’m going to have to make those
What's the recipe for the cinnamon butter? I've tried to make it but it's never the same 😔
@@salemgraves1692 1 stick of room temp butter, 1/4 Cup powdered sugar, 1 1/2 Tbsp honey and 3/4 Tsp cinnamon. Just cream it all together and it’s magic!!!
@@angeljarnagin4023 thank you so much!!! 😊😊
I'm sorry but that one hand egg cracking is legit the coolest. I plan on mastering that before Christmas🤗
Wolfgang's little feet hanging out of his blanket, just melted my heart!! Kim, you're Super Mama! I think everything looked amazing and made me very hungry as am watching this lol
How do those eggs not scramble lol, sorry ive never made eggnog before....
Everything about him melts my heart!!
"One day someone will put the time and attention into cooking something I enjoy " break my heart 😭 I was just wondering if your loved ones appreciate you because this is really so much to do especially post partum with a newborn and other kiddos. Wish I was your friend so I could bake or cook something for you!!
Texan here. An easier way to make those green beans is to buy the frozen green beans that steam when microwaved. Under “cook” the green beans in the microwave. Then put in your pan with butter, the precooked “Real Bacon” brand bacon bits, and some min ed garlic. Salt and pepper if you want. Cook with lid on and stir periodically. Add butter if needed. No need for broth.
An unexpected treat❤❤❤❤❤ Thanks Kim for letting us hang out with you😘
Happy you’re here to hang out!! 🎉
My dad passed away from covid 4 months ago on thanksgiving day so this was our 1st thanksgiving without him and it was so sad but was so glad our family could be together but his empty seat was felt :(
@@shopwithjen prayers 🙏 ❤️
@@wessebaggers thank you its been so hard :(
I felt your mental breakdown in my soul. So hard to let go of the dessert incident and keep on going. I will try laughing instead of crying the next time something like that happens to me. You are an inspiration!
Kim, you are amazing!! You deserve all of the brownie points. All of any awards that are being handed out. WOW!! All of the pre cleaning, mass cooking/baking, entertaining, and clean up after, all with a new born.what a woman! I sure do hope everyone appreciates all that you do. Great job! 👍 This should come with a pat on the back, a hug and a huge nap. See you in your next video, wonder woman. ❤️❤️❤️
DECISIONS ARE SO HARD I KNOW KIM LOL
I would be sooo sad to waste 5 sticks of butter in the pecan bars mostly with the price of groceries sigh :/ bummer girl
I was mostly upset about the pound of butter haha thankfully they were edible and everyone enjoyed them!!
Omg! 😂 I’m literally crying from laughing at the mixer fiasco… then your victory dance/face… seriously can’t get enough your videos.
can you show us how you organize your freezer - mine is such a mess, i always forget what I have!
Your kitchen aid mixer victory dance is everything!!! I was rooting for you and YOU DID IT!!!! I love your content Kim. Thank you for being here. ❤️
It was went easy… but nothing ever is!! Hahaa
When I make stuffing I saute shredded carrot, chopped celery and onions in chicken broth. I dry my own bread and I mix the bread so I use German rye, multi grain and brown bread. When mixing it all together I season with poultry seasoning, savory, sage and some rosemary and I add in frozen corn and bacon pieces. Everyone loves my stuffing.
And.....here I am watching another one of your "Its the Holiday Season "🎵🎵🎵 😉 cooking video's ❤ 😂 ❤ 😂
Kim is the only thing that will bring me joy, when I wake up at 5am! Thank you for sharing Kim! Your amazing!
Oooh early morning fun!! 🎉
Amen ❤
The decision fatigue is SO real!!! I felt that in my soul
Homemade eggnog is soo much better than store bought. I don't like store bought but I love my homemade stuff.
My sister makes the best stuffing she shoves everything into the turkey puts tons of spices in it peppers onions you name it it's in that stuffing and it is so delicious I think that's the only way to make stuffing.
My husband makes the best dressing(stuffing) in the world. It is cornbread dressing with onions, boiled eggs(chopped fine), 1 or 2 cans of cream of chicken soup, butter and lots of broth. Season with pottery seasoning ,salt and pepper. Bake until firm. Delicious!
Wolfgang’s foot when you’re stirring the eggnog on the stove, priceless!❤
Tiny little toesies!!!
Use a box of instant potatoes for your casserole …no baking or peeling of the potatoes just bake the casserole. You are so animated …love it!!
I wish you did come on Thanksgiving but you're so entertaining anytime you do come on I just anticipate the times when you do come on you're so hilarious and funny and kind and beautiful and you just everything you make my day thank you Stella
That was too much fun!!!
I still can’t figure out how you do everything you do with a newborn AND look so fresh and energetic!!! I always look forward to seeing your videos… now to wait for your next one!!!
BTW, that cranberry salsa is my favorite recipe!! Double, triple… there’s never enough.
Same here. I am glad that I am still alive with my 4 week old...
@wadsquaddad looks like a new kitchen aid could go on Kim’s Christmas list 😋
Stuffing over pie most definitely! 😆
I get 2 pkgs of Pepperidge farm corn bread Stuffing , cook that in broth and butter, cook sausage and onions and mix together. Oh it is to die for!
I'm in Canada so our Thanksgiving is long over but I might have to make this anyways 😅🤤
I am so impressed with everything you can do and handle
5 kids, birthday’s, holiday’s , hosting party’s for enormous crowds
And all while nursing and comforting little adorable Wolgang about 22 hours a day and even managing to put a smile on your face.
Thank you for being you and bringing a lot of happy in my life 😘
I feel like- I’ll sleep when they’re all grown. Haha
@@thewadsquad let’s hope it will be a little sooner.
I always put my turkey on the night before. My grandmother and mother always did it that way because we always at between 12 and 1:00.
I just love you because you keep it so real. I'm a 62 year old granny who finds it very challenging to put a big meal together with my small grandchildren under my feet in the kitchen, so I can relate. I hardly measure a thing.
Oooh yes!! It’s always chaos in this kitchen! Glad your grandkids can learn from you!!
Make your stuffing and let it sit overnight then make it into patties and fry in a little oil. Mmmmmm sooooooo good!
I love that someone brought a cat to your house and you made it the whole day not knowing there was a cat in your house until the end of the day. I also love how casually Alex said "yeah someone brought a cat".
"has this ever happened to you?!" Favorite quote 🤣
There is a difference between stuffing and dressing. You need some good southern dressing. It starts with corn bread with extra eggs added and called egg bread. It is so good. I made two huge pans for thanksgiving on there was very little left.
I'm not sure what recipe you used for crockpot hot chocolate, but I made some for my daughter's birthday party and it was AMAZING.
6 cups milk
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 can (14oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 package (12oz) milk chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla extract
Cook on low for 2 hours and stir every 10-20 minutes. You can also do it on high, you will just have to stir more often. Once the chocolate chips are melted, you can turn the crockpot to warm.
I get so excited when I’m working nights and have a WADS notification at 0500!!! You get me through the last bit of a long 12 hour shift! Happy Holidays to you and yours!!!
@amy Clark
You must be a nurse? If so thank u for your hard work and long hours💫
@@ann-utah1495 I am and thank you so much!!!! I love what I do so much!!!!
Thank you! I have been waiting for this one. I must have watched last year's 4 times. I love your vids!!!
The way you checked the temp of the nog had me rolling!😂
Just love watching you the way you make everything so practical 😂😂😂
Here we go party people, Kim has arrived 🎉
🎉 you have arrived!!
Cooking the turkey upside down and on low is best, I hear. I like the skin crisp so I haven't done that yet, but I have done it on 250 degrees over night. Yum! Great video. Thank you for sharing.
We never used box stuffing mix. We call it dressing cause we make it using cornbread and it's so delicious.
The kitchen aid mixer coming apart made me laugh because I have the same issue with mine. The stupid pin thing that is supposed to hold the mixer head on always comes out. My husband "fixed" it, but now the beaters scrape the bowl. Ive had mine almost 17 years. I think I need to upgrade🤣
My mom always added drippings from the turkey and giblets to her stuffing with the onion, celery, it is delicious, the only stuffing I like
Kimberly "Whisk"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay!!! Hope that Thanksgiving was EVERYTHING!
Sitting in a hospital bed day 3 trying to pass a kidney stone so needed a little happy in my day thanks Kim xx
Praying you pass it soon. I've heard they are painful.
Heard pomegranate juice or cranberry juice helps. Hope you stay hydrated and recover quickly.
Thank u for messages get many stones so been a long road with my stones I drink fresh lemonade it neutralises the stones but hives I heart burn so can’t win 😂 they are worse than labour for something that is like a bit of grit 🥰
The sugar draws out the juices of the cranberry dish 😊
Kim you cook like me. My husband and kids ask me to make this dinner again. I’m like good luck with me remembering what I put in it. It’s a crapshoot every time I cook. 😊
Happy Thanksgiving! I made the cranberry jalapeño dip to bring to my mother in law’s. Everyone loved it! “Where did you get this recipe?” The amazing lady on TH-cam said it was delicious. “Well, she was right.” You never fail us.
Oooohhhh yesssss so glad it was a hit!!
I like my stuffing in my turkey. I agree! My potatoes took forever in thanksgiving.
Omgosh laud! I’m laughing so hard over here. Kim you make cooking hilarious. I have once said before you remind me of Lucille Ball!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
You make me smile everyday. I just love you and your channel! 🫶🏻💕👩🏻🦱🤗
Funny...the stuffing is the favorite in our family and we never have extra 🤣
Always wanted to ask; why do you keep your tags on things? Like your cutting board, or organization bins? 🤔
THanks for the company!! My husband and son are coming back from his family's Thanksgiving today, and I didn't go bc I'm 39 weeks preggers and trying to finish boards before I pop. Taking a study break and a chai with you.
So close ❤️ hope you have an amazing labor 🙏
Not an eggnog fan.
We had a bunch of pecan trees in our front & backyard when I was growing up. I loved going out and cracking some open to eat for a snack. People would stop by and ask if they could pick some up. Those suckers hurt falling out of the tree and hitting your head, though!
We watched Spirited the other night and really liked it. Big Will Ferrell & Ryan Reynolds fan!
Kim I wish I was there just to help you with the baby I'm always babysitting one of my nieces or nephews kids just love it
💖That "Cranberry-song", had me rolling😆
I like stuffing. We usually start with Stove Top and then add things like broth instead of water, sausage, mushrooms, onions, or cranberries or apples or pecans. It's very versatile.
Kim, I am watching this AFTER Thanksgiving.. with recovering from surgery, I have to say you made me laugh 😃 very God job even with Wolfgang's every ten minute needs. You amaze me. Use what you have. Great recipes. Love your organization. Great job! I hope you had left overs. The best. The kids will live it all...
Don't know how you do what you do. I really liked the way you cooked the sweet potatoes. The turkey also looked amazing.
I use box stuffing (bells brand is my favorite) and stuff my turkey with it. The stuffing is my family’s favorite, and always the first thing to go!
I'm a diabetic, I think my pancreas just erupted 🤯 hope you had a lovely time with your family 🥰
My nana's turkey stuffing (to stuff in the bird while baking the bird overnight on 275 for 8.5 hours (20 lb. bird) in an oven bag: 12 eggs, 2 sticks of butter melted, 1 jar of pimento, 1 can of minced black olives, 1.5 cups of finely diced celery, 2 bags of bread cubes with herb seasoning packets. Heat butter and whipped eggs and seasoning packets in pot until slightly cooked (not curdled), on med low heat. Remove from heat, add in pimento, black olives and dice celery.. Add in the bread cubes and mix until the bread is thoroughly moist....add more eggs and butter if needed to have a wet consistency (but not runny). Stuffing is ready to stuff into bird....mine spills out a bit and I don't sew up the bird...just leave it be. I cook it overnight and my house smells amazing in the morning. Butter and season the bird before putting it in the oven bag and stuffing it. Adding the stuffing keeps the bird extremely moist and infuses it from the inside with flavor. Amazing! Family recipe passed down from my great grandmother.
Oh, I am so ready for 50 mins of Kimberly Whisk!! ❤
Wolfgang is so sweet. He looks like my son, 47 years ago. Hey, I still have my memory! COOL!
Wowee. You did so much! All the food looks amazing. I love stuffing. It's a toss up between pecan pie and stuffing for me. Cranberry salsa looks delish.
Great tip I received for getting thyme, freeze the thyme in a bag and then just scrunch it. The leaves come straight off leaving the woody stems behind. Absolute life changer!
I wish I were as relaxed as you were..I hope you all had a great day❤️🥧
Kim, I totally understand you when you were upset about the pecan pie and you were just overwhelmed.. I also had a mental breakdown over Thanksgiving lol. We as Mom's take on way too much and most of us do not have the support that we need! You're doing great Kim ☺️
Well, it took me 2 days to finish this, but I did!! I loved them all!
Try adding more broth to your stuffing. It should be a wet mixture before you bake it. That will make it much tastier. Good Luck and Happy holidays.
See you made corn pudding with cream cheese!! I knew remember cream cheese being an ingredient instead of sour cream! Tons of different recipes!
I basically make my loaded cauliflower the same except no cream cheese. The sauce is sour cream and mayo. Also add diced mushrooms in the mix. Cover with cheese, bacon, and more cheese. It's great!!
Where, I mean WHERE do you find all your energy? With a newborn yet! You’re amazing, and so funny! Wish I could have been there to help you!! Happy Holidaays from Vernon, BC
Good Morning Kim and party people Not a fan of eggnog but my husband is. I will make a batch. I also will freeze some in ice tray's for his coffee.
Thanks for all the mouth watering recipes and happy in our day's.
Have a blessed Thanksgiving with family and friends
Great idea! I’ve never thought about freezing it
Oh that sounds lovely.
You sound like a nice wife😉
Wow! Happy and yummy thanksgiving for you and your family! Good weekend
That cranberry salsa looks incredible! Definitely trying that for Christmas!
Along with the celery, onion, and sausage, add to your stuffing mushrooms, pecans or chestnuts, and fresh herbs: sage, thyme, rosemary, and parsley. Then, bake in the oven with pats of butter on top. It’s usually the first dish we run out of!
My kids enjoyed having the Welch's sparkling grape and Martinelli's sparking cider for Thanksgiving. They think it is fancy and it feels special.
Cilantro is my favorite herb, too. 🤤
Kim I love you so so so so much you give me courage to cook !! Lol when u say teaspoon and u squeeze the bottles of spices lol 😂 I die laughing but u know what my kiddo says I don't put enough spices so **APPARENTLY **IYKYK* I need to be like you and just go all in with the spices and seasonings!!
I made that Cauliflower casserole!! Delish!! Thanks for sharing!.
You need the cube stuffing along with the crumble
Im English and that's a loooot of butter 🤣🤣 we do food so different looks delicious though x
Hi from Ireland. Just watched and wondered if you ever do *creamed potatoes* the way we do in England and Ireland, which is basically just a little butter and milk to mash them? Plus I !Ake a very basic stuffing and mix sausage meat, potatoes sage onion and breadcrumbs and mash it all together and stuff the bird, it is very dry going in but is cooked in the juices of the turkey., My family fight over the crust of the stuffing, so next day I scoop it all out and rebake it so there is a crust for everyone. Lastly have you ever cooked your ham in coca cola. I did it last year and omg I will never eat it any other way.
Also very Irish thing to do is after you drain turkey juices and let them settle, remove the hard grease layer and spread the jelly from the bottom of the jug on bread and fry it. It is soooooo good😁. I know everyone has there own way of doing a turkey dinner these are just my favourites.
Really enjoyed seeing you JOY of the holiday!
I finally made your cranberry salsa and it was so delicious 😭😭
Made the cranberry appetizer! It was REQUESTED after serving it last year for Christmas
Great video Kim - I love the way that you just roll with it - nothing seems to get you down (for long anyway)! Thanks for the laughs, I surely enjoyed it!
Kim, you are always the true professional, thinking about camera angles, while the rest of us are just salivating over the recipes.
Everything looks delicious. Thank you for inviting us to your home and have a taste of your cooking. Looking forward to more.❤
This was highly entertaining. Well done! I’m looking forward to making some of these!
Great job. You are so funny while you are cooking. Love your videos. HAPPY THANKSGIVING
Kim you should do a cookbook all your recipes are delicious and filling did you go to Culinary School
My husband and I have tried several different recipes for ham...and the one we keep going back to is 2 cups of brown suger, ground cloves and pineapple (with the juice). I don't know why it's the one that works the best for us; possibly because it's the easiest.😁
You can add poultry seasoning to the stuffing mix and it will add good flavor. You can also add some sage.
I overdid it on eggnog as a child and got very, "actively" sick. I still can't smell it without getting a little nauseous and I'm 65 LOL You are an absolute joy, Kim!
Happy holidays and God bless you and your family. 🙏❤️🥰
Our family has been making the "Baked corn" recipe for years as well. Only we call it "Corn Casserole" instead of cream cheese, we add a container of french onion dip...SO TASTY. It is a family favorite for sure
Glad yall had a great Thanksgiving. When I cook my turkey I get it ready put it in a 500 degree oven for 1hour then turn off leave in oven all night it will fall off the bone...hugs
Happy Thanksgiving to you all!!! I'm surprised you don't do a warm apple cider/mulled cider. You can send your Kitchen Aid back to them to repair. Everything looked great. Blessings.
Pecan pie is my favorite thanksgiving/Christmas staple too!! I felt your devastation and so glad they were good and Alex came through with a pie replacement for you!
Happy late Thanksgiving and happy birthday to Eleanor (I'm not sure of her exact birthday, but I know it's always right around Thanksgiving) 😊❤️ Sorry to hear about the pecan pie bars ☹️ at least people still enjoyed them 👍🏻 You make so much! I only made three desserts, and my fiancée told me I was doing too much lol. Luckily it seems like most of the recipes you made don't take too long. I decided to make a butter pecan cheesecake and I hadn't made cheesecake in awhile... shortly after I started making it, I remembered why I don't make it often. It takes F-O-R-E-V-E-R (The Sandlot 😁) lol.
was that bacon frozen i am assuming lol??
Thanks so much!! Her birthday is the 27th and she had a great time her party is this weekend!!
Happy late thanksgiving hope it was a blessed day for u and ur lovely family 💖
