I love the fact that the turtles are voiced by actual teenagers and act like them as well it’s such a nice detail

Leo *actually* seems like the big brother and the oldest. Raph the second oldest, where as Mikey and Donnie still haven't bloomed yet.
They've been giving him a personality for a while now. Even in the 2012 cartoon he's a huge geek that watches cartoons and reads comics to emulate leadership.
I’m 43 years old and grew up with tmnt cartoons back in 1990. So, yes I’ll definitely watch this in the big screen! Love it!

The important thing to know about TMNT, is that the original comics had two creators, one who loved gritty vigilantes, and the other who loved the muppets. TMNT is the perfect synthesis of these two archetypes.

I am so excited for this, I love how they seem like actual teens. Most of the time they play them as young adults, later in their career and a lil more mature but I love the goofiness that 14 yr old them brings

I love the piano at the beginning of the trailer being a callback to the OG theme from the 80s, actually so nice.
Finally some1 else noticed that loved it hopefully in part 2 and 3 we can hear the other theme songs make cameos. Such as the ninja rap during the car shop.

Honestly as someone who's grown tired of the "chatty quipper ensemble" trope that's exploded here lately, it suits the dynamic of the turtles and looks like the writer's are making informed decisions on how to execute it based off the turtles' different personalities. Pretty hype for this!

I do like the concept of them being actual teenagers when they’re usually depicted as young adults. You gotta love the Spider-Verse inspired animation style too. I won’t have too high of expectations but I’m definitely looking forward to this movie; I can’t imagine it being worse than Turtles In Time and the two Michael Bay movies.
I think the TV series captures them more as teenagers. The 1980 and 2012 series did anyway.

I actually love the idea of actually seeing them as Younger Teenagers. Usually they're obviously around like 16-19 year olds personality wise but these guys are fresh outta 6th grade. I’m actually interested to see this film and this cast is literally stacked.

Jackie Chan voicing Splinter and Giancarlo Esposito voicing Baxter Stockman are probably some of the greatest casting choice in animation history

Original version of April and Baxter Stockman from the comics were black. They were changed to white in the 80s animated series. Subsequent versions have returned Baxter to being black but on the most recent animated version did the same to April.
Exactly 💯!! They are in NYC for crying out loud, don’t get me wrong I grew up on the 87 series and the OG live action trilogy, my personal favorites, but I honestly love aprils design. Thought her being chubby was a little weird at first but her glasses, freckles, and reddish tented dreads are dope AF and quickly changed my opinion lol

I love how new movies are featuring unique art styles and drawing inspiration from "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse." It's refreshing to see movie studios take risks and create distinctive films, rather than simply following in Disney's footsteps and aiming to produce visually pleasing but ultimately formulaic movies
Straight up copying another art style is not exactly unique. Gotta say personally I can't stand the low framerate fake claymation style, it hurts my eyes to look at.

I really dig all these new ideas: the blending of the gritty looking city with the very childish TMNT; them sounding like actual teens for the first time and Donnie being the baby of the bunch. This franchise never ceases to amaze me with each new concepts it brought up with each incarnation

A movie that involves Raph throwing Shruiken at Mikey's head cannot be all bad. I love when they act like teenagers. They were proper teenagers in Rise (if slightly insane) and here they are again. Also, looks like Black April is sticking it out.

In fact, April O'Neil was a mixed race character when she made her first ever appearances, being based on the real life partner of one of the comic's team members. She was just literally whitewashed lol she originally wasn't a white redhead

It’s like studios were JUST figuring out that after Spider-verse made absolute BANK at the box office, animation isn’t just for kids anymore.
Spider-verse didn't make a huge profit and also this seems like it's aimed at a much younger audience than TMNT usually skews.

It's definitely an improvement on Michael Bay's 7 foot tall musclebound nightmare beasts.
It bugs me they seem like they're in the 11 to 13 age range rather than the 15 to 19 range. Feels weirdly kiddish to me. They feel like they have the life experience of a Gen alpha human preteen or child too rather than mutant humanoid turtles who have trained in ninjutsu under a wise master, living in secret their entire their lives.

I really like the idea of them putting some new spins on the turtles. Donnie sounds like he might be the youngest this time and from the trailer it looks like Leo might be more of a worry wart than in past versions. Also the fact that they actually sound like young teenagers is really refreshing, so excited for this movie!

I love EVERYTHING about the art direction in this movie. Everything has this hand drawn feeling, the lower "Spider-Verse" influenced frame rate, and the colorwork. Beyond hyped.
First DreamWorks and now Paramount/Nickelodeon. Love how much impact Spider Verse has in pushing new boundaries for the animation look

Thank goodness for films like spider-verse and the peanuts movie proving that animation should stand out from the rest cause if it has the same Disney art style then they all blend together.
The art style is strikingly similar to clay-mation in that it has texture like each figure was sculpted with love and care.

When I first saw the movie: “Best ninja TURTLES MOVIE EVER!!!”
This looks very beautiful, the fact the turtles are voiced by actual teens is amazing, has to be one of the most promising TMNT movies I’ve seen so far

The fact that they're voiced by "actual teens" instead of actual VOICE ACTORS is terrible and why they all sound the same except Donnie who sounds like a toddler.
@@Degalon lol, you can’t be serious. Yeah they are teens but of course they are real actors with experience in tv or movies: Euphoria, Grey’s Anatomy, Walking Dead, The Chi, etc…
Love how the style has scribbles and more of a dirty look witch I love because it makes it unique from puss, arcane, and spider verse hope this happens with more movies and shows
For real! Look back at that shot where the light from the car is shining on Mikey and Donatello. The dirt that the car is kicking up and even the wheels spinning are made up of just scribbles. It's super cool. Not to mention the nearly 2D backdrops

This is now a moronic comedy where not just Mickey but all the turtles are dumb to the point that they seem high(makes sense with Seth Rogen involved).
This is some of the worst voice acting we've ever heard, with kids who have no talent and no voice acting experience at all. And they're all random voices...there's no uniqueness to any of the characters.
And OF COURSE they had to make April black and ruin her iconic look. Plus Jackie Chan, a chinese man/actor playing a character like Splinter who couldn't possibly be any more japanese. That's not racist AT ALL. Because hey, April is black so the movie can't be racist, right?
What a GARBAGE movie. Just as trash as the Michael Bay movies except even worse when it comes to the characters and just as trash as Rise of the TMNT as well. Nickelodeon was the worst thing that ever happened to this franchise.

I'm a 38 yr old turtles fan, and I really want to like this, but I just don't. I could see it being another animated series for kids , but as far as a movie goes, I'm sad to say that I'm just not feeling it.
