Great video and review. Mine is 2019 white Trail Boss with the same lettering as you. Turned out great!!! Thank you again! hungry boat easy with a hair dryer for some heat to soften the adhesive. They won’t be re-usable though. Taking them off bends that dome clear plastic.
I bought some cheaper ones on Amazon and of course I did it right. Made sure surface was clean and dry. Nxt day shit was peeling off. Just ordered these today. We'll see how it goes
The 1/16 are flat, and the 1/8 have a bubble or dome look. I love the thicker ones. The light reflects off of them like it would on a bare tailgate so they match perfectly.
Were the black flat ones you ordered still glossy black? Hard to tell from video and that is what I am thinking of getting. May go with stainless steel elsewhere but a bit hesitant on that.
How does then red trim look in person? I've read a few reviews on Amazon, and one of the criticisms was the the red trim had a slightly orange appearance.
Sagittarius 88 I think it’s a good red. Obviously in bright direct sun will be a shade brighter. Also, last time I checked they were cheaper from the BDTrims website vs Amazon.

The main deference I like is how lights shimmers off of the domed gloss finish. Matches the stamped metal tailgate a lot better. Plus they have a few more color options. Domed look gorgeous imo.

Appalachian Pursuit red accents the taillights, chrome is ok if you have an LT. Honestly I’d Give the American flag or a camo texture a look if your into that. The flags are reflective at night which is super cool imo.
I did these exact ones on my blk 2020 Silverado high country and I did redline Silverado emblem that matches perfect red/blk and also did blk/red high country badge on the back looks nasty

Solid black or solid red go with pretty much anything, they’d compliment the black plastic, or the red taillights. Chrome looks good against the blue, but a custom gets rid of most of the chrome on your truck, so that sounds counter productive lol.

Pork Chop Yeah, my gut reaction to permanently removing factory badges made me feel like I was devaluing my truck, but they make them from the factory in black now, so it’s likely something I’ll have to do lol. Wish they had something good looking to match for the Z71 and RST.

Flat are definitely less glossy in black. I always recommend the domed letters. They look great on the stamped aluminum tailgate.
