- In this episode I show how I fit the trailer light socked to the coupler plate. I don't like to drill holes in the gorgeous paintwork. This socket is included in the Trailer Light Set.

Awesome
Teri, that's a bluddy great idea!!💡 I was just thinking about that very thing. My Trailer Light Kits arrived today - as well as my Trailers!! 😁
I'm going to have to cut the plug off of the Truck end.... Because I'm using Beier USM RC-2s. So I also need to figure out WHAT color Wires go to what lights. 😖 Do you know?
Right, I wanted to mount the Plug NOT on the Sleeper Body, but didn't figure out where.
You just sorted that for me!! Thank you so much! 😊🍺 I don't have remote Coupler, so my Coupler Latch plate is a perfect spot.
Seriously, thank you!!! 👍👍☺ I've gotten so many good ideas from you so far. I've given you credit on my Videos. 😉
Wire Colours in the Tamiya Trailer Lights wire are as follows...
Left Indicator - Brown (+) Red (-)
Right Indicator - Orange (+) Yellow (-)
Stop/Tail - Green (+) Blue (-)
the lead which plugs into J28 is (from left to right)...
1. Brown +
2. Red -
3. Orange +
4. Yellow -
5. Green +
6. Blue -
Bless you Teri!!! 😁
@@CarminesRCTipsandTricks I have a note book which I write everything in... I identified the wires in the trailer lights when I was asked to swap the stock LEDs to 7 chamber euro style lights.
@@TeriWilde SUCH A SIMPLE IDEA 💡
You'd think I would have been doing that for years... Oh wait! I did. When I was a Repair Shop General Manager.
Yet I never thought of doing it for my Hobbies. 😖
Right, chalk up one more "Teri Idea" for my Trucks!! 😊
I think I've mentioned that I've been in the Hobby since 1983.... But this is my first Big Rig Build. And I'm STARTING with a Beier!! Somebody hit me in the head. 😳

The next Video is ready. A modern Song, that I hadn't heard of!! But all these songs were Girl's choice! I have to keep them private - until we get copyright on them...

Gracias y bienvenida 👋
King Hauler es mi favorito y tengo 3 😎
¡Disfrutar! 👍
if you have used the screw driver when putting in the speaker or the motor or vibe motor that could magnetize you screwdrive. nut a great idea for the trailer plug wished i thought of that as i filled in the holes on my cab but ended up placing the plug where it supposed to go but i just used a body reamer to make the hole .
I first put the trailer plug there in my Rubber Duck MACK so I thought I'd do it again 😎
Hi Teri I have installed the plug you have just showed me but the trailer Iight plug catches on the the trailer when pushed into the coupler. Do you know why that is?
it's designed to fit into the socket when mounted to the back of the cab, I put it in the chassis frame because I prefer it there but I do have to shave the lump off the top of the plug so it doesn't catch the trailer.

👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Yes we do like your videos. Have you tried to fit wireless trailer lights? With a receiver and battery box on the trailer..
I have SS-Tronix wireless connection in my W900 Snowman truck and Servonaut Air-U/AMO in another... it's rare I use the couple/uncouple so it's not worth the cost of fitting them in a lot of cases... I like to run with trailer rather than bob tailing...
I will have to demo the wire kits I've already installed in my other builds 😎
Just telling you that this Series is a HUGE help!! 😉👌
We all need help with our Channels.... I really do - at only 135 subs, and only about 25 viewers per video....
With only FOUR TO SIX likes per Video! 😵😭 So right, ill try to help you as much as I can! 😉

I only had a few subs when I started... I should get back to the work bench and do some more.
@@TeriWilde You mentioned an Euro Truck that you need to build.....?
yes, I have the Euro MAN TGX that's been under the bed since 2015, just not had the chance to start it. always other things to do.
I understand THAT! Hopefully not too much longer... your passion is obvious when you're building/modifying!
