What if I don’t have to cut it? Like I have stems that are healthy and only the main stem was dead if that makes sense. Can I put it straight into dirt or still cut it and dry it out? Trying to save a plant that was dying.
The dead part will not grow new roots so need to put the healthy part on the soil. It is also possible that the dead part could be infested with pest or diseases so better cut it.
@@djgarden4393 thanks for your reply. I think it was dying because it has been over 100° where I live and I probably should’ve watered it more. I’ll go ahead and put the healthy stems that I twisted off into the dirt and see how they do if not, I will cut them later. Thanks again 😊
@@selenemaya5220 you can water it right away so that the soil will settle and hold the plant in place, but make sure it gets dry quickly. Let it stay dry for a few days then you can water again.
hi, pwede pa rin po pero mas mababa ang succes rate nya. dry nyo nalang ng mabuti bago itanim at hayaang matuyo ang lupa bago diligan ulit para di magka fungus.

It worked thanks so much!
I have a lady finger cactus and she has 3 pups!

How many days do I let it dry?? ❤
Hi, until the cut gets calloused, about four days or more depends on your climate/location.
@@djgarden4393 thank you, and once planted how do I water it? ♥️

@@djgarden4393 From then on, do I only water it from the saucer when it's completely dry?
@@selenemaya5220 as long as you use well draining soil mix you can water it thoroughly when it is completely dry during warmer days.
Why cinnamon powder?
Hi! cinnamon powder can act as rooting hormone to callous and stimulate root growth while preventing disease caused by fungus. Thank you for watching!

pano pag walang cinnamon powder?pwede pa rin ba?
